Here's my idea: download maybe 70 video clips, 70 audio clips. Construct an idea of a commercial I want, then head over to fiverr.com and get a voice over artist for $5. BAM! You got a professional quality commercial that makes your product/service/brand look GOOD AS HELL for less than the price of a AMC Theaters movie.

Here's my 2nd idea: get a collection of these videos and charge people to create a professional commercial. They have to accept the first one you do or else pay a nominal amount for revisions (the $$$ covers the fee paid to the voice over artist)

I just started the trial. I started on Saturday and I have the maximum 80 files downloaded and already optimized.

You download QuickTime clips of audio and video, and if you have Camtasia or some other video editing program, you can optimize the size from there. I turn my audio into MP3's and the videos into MP4's.

The file sizes are pretty big (30-40MB for audio, 100-300MB for video) so I recommend converting.

I already did a commercial with one of the audio pieces, and altogether it cost me $5. Wrote the script, got a voice over artist on fiverr, added still photos and flyers, and laced the track in the background. Professional production.

I recommend you search around and plan on what clips you want beforehand, save the URL or the name of the file, and start each day downloading all 20 files to maximize your trial.

This is how the pros do it, so c'mon y'all, time to step up! :yes:

Ok I just finished the trial, and downloaded the maximum 140 videos. Well, somehow I was able to get one more (141), but overall I think it was a good deal.

The clips are definitely high-quality, high resolution, and professional.

But get this: the regular subscription is $79. I canceled and got an email this morning asking why did I cancel, and would I like to continue and just pay $19/mo. That's a $60/mo drop! It has me tempted, so I'll think about it.

Anyone know of any other places where you can get affordable stock video/audio clips? iStockVideo is a good place, but the $$$ you gotta pay is simply insane.
