Bitconnect shut down.

Just like anything else nothing last forever. If you got in early and saw the vision you made a lot of money. No different than all this pumping and dumping being done on these coins. Do not invest in anything that you can not afford to lose.

Wise words indeed.

It's a gamble not much different that going to a casino. The selling point most often used is investment. Investment has a nice ring to it like its a sure thing, your investment is guaranteed. But its not.

This looks like some of the inside investors got greedy while they were still under the microscope.

I used to laugh at the idiots who thought crypto currency was going to take over. Talking about the benefits of it getting away from the Government. I used to be like make some money and bounce. See it for what it is. A quick come up.

...I just hope I can get a fucking GTX 1060 graphics card for the normal $299 sometime in the near fucking future. Seen that shit as high at $900 on Amazon and Newegg. Scalpers...

Try to use nowinstock for alerts. If you're fast, you can pick them up for their normal price.

You can use Gemini.

A lot more people running ponzi schemes with $US than crypto though. Doesn't make either currency inhearantly crooked

Yeah no doubt but that isn't what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the average joe blow who has never invested trying to tell others about how crypto currency and the blockchain is the future etc. How they breaking away from the banks and all the hooplah that comes with Crypto currency instead of bouncing in making money and bouncing out.

Bitconnect was a great come up if you bought the coin at 10 cents and then sold them at $400
don't use the platform and that's a nice comeup
locking tokens up and all that other shit is where the problems came in. the allure of extra money on top of free money is what ruined cats.

Speaking as the average Joe Blow, crypto currencies are the first assets I ever invested in. I learned how to do this from another Joe Blow who also made money. He shared his knowledge so I shared mine with others. Nothing wrong with that.

Bitcoin may not have replaced the bank, but it did replace my savings account. I stopped paying WellsFargo $10/ month for zero return on my money and started buying crypto instead. It's a lot riskier, but so far has lead to more gains than losses.

If I could find a way to deposit $US checks, venmo payments and Square payments into my bitcoin wallet with the same speed and flexibility that i can with a bank i would abandon my account tomorrow. The technology isn't there yet, but it's coming

I wasn’t going to say anything but fuck it I told you cats to get out while the getting out was good do not fall in love with Stocks make the most money you can and get out this happens time and time again. Also the old money people made a little money off of bitcoins and now they want to shut it down.

That is rule number one whenever investing in anything. My pops told me that is the first rule of cattle. Never ever fall in love with 1 of them. Jump in make some gains and jump out. I kept trying to tell people who sounded like idiots saying "hodl" was a bad idea. Its like you couldn't get folks who are new to investing to understand when shit hits a peak and then sell then buy back in when it hits a low. Simple simple concept but they fell in love with "hodl".

It was decent while it lasted.
Only put a little that I could afford to lose. So I didn't lose too much in the end.
I was seeing cats on youtube dropping 10k loans like nothing. One guy I follow said he lost 6 figures yesterday.
We'll see what happens in the future with the bcc coins.
At least they gave people that back instead of completely shutting down and bouncing.

jeezus christ you’re ignorant...you barely know how to buy BTC yet in here prattling about why ppl shouldn’t “hodl”...some ppl are holding tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands and in some cases millions of tokens...these are the ppl who “hodl” if they believe a project is undervalued bcuz the time they take to sell all these tokens on an exchange the price can shoot back up on them before they can buy back in low...a lot of ppl have gotten burned that way trying to “outsmart” the market...you would know this if you've actually bought/sold anything on these exchanges...but you hardly even know where to buy bitcoin o_O nothing wrong w/ collecting profits btw...everyone has their own strategy...I just have a huge issue w/ someone as clueless as you knocking a proven method of making gains...there are multiple ways to win @ this game
