That happens in TV all of the time. Some anchors have mucho grande egos and hate to be put in a position that makes them look foolish on the air. Some do not even speak to their co-anchors when they are not on the set or on the air. I even heard of one dude who kicked his pregnant co-anchor under the desk so that she would mess up. But rule #1 for anchors is to NEVER use profanity on the set. Because you never know when a mic could be open.
