So even though I believe the women, that still does not answer why these charges, which first became public in 2004, are such a story NOW at the end of 2014.

So, how did it happen? Was it the Illuminati? Was it because "The Man" was tired of Cosby dispensing tough criticism on Black people? Was it because "The Man" was upset at Cosby for being a multi-millionaire?

No.

This is how the story became news again.

1.) In late January of this year, Dylan Farrow, Mia Farrow's daughter, and Woody Allen's stepchild, went public and accused Woody Allen of molesting her. Now this was old news, but it was the first time that Dylan herself confirmed it. When this story came out. Gawker.com felt the need to explore other celebrities who had been charged with sexual assault and the story faded away. Of course, Bill Cosby's story is one of those. Dylan Farrow's choice to go public was the opening of the door on Cosby.

2.) After the Gawker story, Newsweek magazine found 2 of the accusers from 2006, Tamara Green & Barbara Bowman, and in February of this year, interviewed them about their accusations. The stories are compelling.

3.) Comedian Hannibal Buress researching for a comedy routine, googles Cosby and finds the recent stories in Newsweek and Gawker about his alleged raping of multiple women. He weaves it into his act, and the taped comedy routine in October of this year, is placed on the internet where it goes viral. A Philadelphia magazine then runs a story on the statements by Buress and re-states the allegations from 2004-2006.

4.) Cosby's publicist, who is worried about all of the bad press and what it might do to his plans for Cosby's special on Netflix, and a new series on NBC, comes up with a plan to try and change what comes up when people search Cosby on Google. The PLAN? To have people on Twitter create memes with Cosby at the center. His challenge: "Meme Me," ends up with BlackTwitter creating numerous memes of Cosby connected with rape-quotes. The memes go viral, joining Hannibal Buress and the recent interviews.

5.) Barbara Bowman, one of the accusers from 2005-2006, writes an op-ed article in the Washington Post, entitled, "Bill Cosby Raped Me. Why Did It Take 30 Years For People To Believe My Story?" The story becomes widely read and shared on the internet.

6.) Cosby goes on NPR and becomes silent when asked by Scott Simon for his response to these allegations.

7.) Numerous women come out and accuse Cosby of sexually assaulting them, some of them celebrities, and even a wife of a celebrity.

"The Man" who put this story out this year? Dylan Farrow & Karma
