Bill-ary Clinton eeks out a win Nevada.

Does it not bother anyone else that dude is giving props to Reagan?

He hasn't given props to Reagan. He was comparing what he could do as President to Reagan.

That is the most idealistic thing I have ever seen on this message board.

The Republicans will be dragging their feet/outright defying pretty much anything that Obama will want to do because they won't be in the business of giving the country what it wants...they will be about getting back in the White House.

Mark my words if Obama gets elected and the GOP gets control of congress they won't be cooperative at all. The last thing they would want to do is make the upstart look good and possibly get re-elected, they will want to either tear him down completely or put up enough roadblocks to make him ineffectual all in an effort to sabotage his shot at reelection.

The only hope a Dem president has (whether its Clinton or Obama) is if they control Congress too.

I agree with that last comment.

D-Nice 1 (The Nice One)

Another reason to support Obama over Clinton which also illustrates his Reagan comparison is that you are much more likely to see a Democratic Congress with Obama, with his campaign based on reaching across party lines, than Clinton, who half the country is already committed to hating.

Hillary is in a worse position as President by default because her being President-- if she can even win a general election-- means it is going to be yet another closely contested, partisan election and she will fuel Republicans to come out to vote... The Republicans gained the House for the first time in 40 years under Clinton, the best prospects for a Republican Congress other than a Republican President is a Clinton.
