Thanks, I'll check it out. Didn't know Heie had a facebook group.

I can't believe this thread hasn't been updated in a while.
I listened to Heie's advice and took my art training more seriously,
to get better with speed, human anatomy, landscapes, colors.
This also meant even less time being on here.
But here are a few art wallpapers I made which are result of my training. I designed these art pieces for my Graphic Design website, you can see some more there Graphicsduo2.

:cool::cool:

damn bruh that some dope shit right there

i havent drawn anything since july.
I gotta make time,
working and family life I just dont have the time these days
:smh:

Thanks man.
But I gotta give props to Heie sense his work
really inspires me.
And I know what you mean. Life can be that way.

But like you said you can make time, even if
its just 10 minutes out of your day.

Since I'm a freelance Graphic Designer most of the of time
I'm busy trying to find clients or working on projects for clients.
So majority of my days are mostly filled.
But I still try to set aside at least 10-30 minutes out of my
day to draw so that I can keep my skill level up.
Not to mention its a nice stress reliever.

^great work...

Is that the new Sketchbook Pro

I haven't done any drawing in a minute...Im too busy trying to teach myself how to do Blender.....

It supports all picture files like tif, gif, and jpeg...and I just downloaded the trial version,it also supports .PSD files also...

WHICH PROGRAM IS BETTER FOR SKETCHING??

1. PHOTOSHOP
2. SKETCHBOOK PRO

And What is the difference between SketchBook Pro 7 and SketchBook Pro 2015?

Never tried Photoshop even though I had it on my laptop, but from what I understand from people who use both is that Sketchbook Pro is similar but different from Photoshop and its alot cheaper..

Most professionals prefer Photoshop, since it does alot more..though,but Sketchbook Pro isn't a slouch either....Either way, both are good in its own way..

Anyways the only difference I can see,is that SBP7 is for individuals, while SBP2015 is for businesses....:dunno:

Every muthaf*ckin' illustrator in this thread is f*cking around, got damnit.

Comic book, animation series, video game leg work ALL UP IN THIS B!TCH, the genres where we are least represented.

I'm f*cking up to, but this is ya'lls thread, so I'ma throw shade.

oh shit...i forgot how nicely this came out. still need to get the novel formatted for kindle. i guess i'll do that this week.
Novel...? Kindle...?

If you are interested in another stream of income for your novel, and future projects, inbox me.

We need to combine our talents.

I was working on an app last year. Told Buk about it I think. but he's busy being Mr.mom and Im busy fighting racist crackerz at my biz. ya'll hit me on fb. we should do a joint chat or something.
That's a great idea for you cats, plus, your work is always air tight Dray.

you have good stuff.

you got to stay at it, not take off weeks or months from drawing.

your poses and color look like competent anime/manga work.

practice your line consistency and i cant see why you couldnt do stuff like any working anime/manga artist.

i'm a published writer. i wrote a novella about 10 years ago as an online serial that got pretty popular, so i adapted it into a novel. was in talks to get it published by warner/aspect (company i was published thru earlier) but they had a total upheaval in their fantasy department, and all my contacts bounced. decided to self publish kindle style.
I used to draw, emphasis on "used to". I was good, but equated talent with being able to draw fast. I was slow as tortoise dung.

And on that publishing, I will just put it out there, if you are interested in collaboating on an audiobook tip, let me know.
wish i could draw. i basically hate all of u.
:lol::lol::lol:
my idea for a comic strip was "borrowed"...took me 2 years to work on it (writing + illustrating)...me being young I got upset...foolishly quit + moved on to something else...this was about 14 years ago...no interest/motivation to get back into it now
Blood Boiling Event Number One.
That was one of the reasons why I stopped drawing, because this white dude in my class kept taking my ideas and the teacher didn't appreciate me drawing too many black characters....I said fuck it and stop drawing for 8 years...

I got bored one day and started back drawing....
Blood Boiling Event Number Two.
unfortunately, people who could work in the industry USUALLY DO.

it takes more than talent. :smh:
Trust me, fam, in all of the "enteraintment" industry, I understand.:smh:
