since ever one is dropping something I got to throw something down as well

Thats some good artwork bruh. Yall rejuvenating my creative process again.

Thanx Big Daddy Buk and Heiesuke Im getting inspired again.

After i scan some of my drawings; I might finally use my new wacom intuos5 tablet

and you shy mafuggas who draw but dont want to share...

get over that shit.

you need someone to look at your work and tell you what you can do to feel m ore comfortable with it.

when i went to art school one of my fellow students told me to just draw shit i see in sports illustrated, cause it was a great way to practice drawing NATURAL action poses instead of the ridiculous shit you see in mainstream comics.

that was some of the best advice i've ever gotten.

Nikkas is all talk, I have yet to see any contact and ideas fella. :hmm:

I was working on an app last year. Told Buk about it I think. but he's busy being Mr.mom and Im busy fighting racist crackerz at my biz. ya'll hit me on fb. we should do a joint chat or something.

we gone have to hire a staff to get shit poppin' right.

i got at least another month of work left on this issue then i'm taking 3 weeks off.

This is some solid advise. Will have to start doing that as well cause I still feel my work is amateur at best at time with really stiff characters just kind of standing around

you have good stuff.

you got to stay at it, not take off weeks or months from drawing.

your poses and color look like competent anime/manga work.

practice your line consistency and i cant see why you couldnt do stuff like any working anime/manga artist.

So buk has a novel?

i'm a published writer. i wrote a novella about 10 years ago as an online serial that got pretty popular, so i adapted it into a novel. was in talks to get it published by warner/aspect (company i was published thru earlier) but they had a total upheaval in their fantasy department, and all my contacts bounced. decided to self publish kindle style.

Dude just practice is the best advice I can give. I draw daily. Even when I'm on the phone I'm on my sketchpad doodling. Don't worry about critique because 9 out 10 times no one is going to tell you, you suck. Shit look at Facebook...populated with some of the worse (won't call them artists) people who think they can draw and they never hesitate to post their ugly napkin drawings.

Have confidence, but most of all really practice. Challenge yourself daily.

Ah yes, love those lines man! This app is great for its intended purpose. All I need is canvas rotation [not sure if it has that] and I'm good!

Here is some of my work

Some of the pictures are blurry, due to my webcam

I dont have many digital stuff, since Im working on the anatomy

:D
See man it's all about loving to draw and paint and create. I see mass creativity there, just need to work on your fundamentals and lock it into your muscle memory and that comes with drawing and drawing and drawing some more.

I think this is done.

Just showing you that in about 20 mins we can get some very interesting designs when you add in some lighting.

That was fantastic...:bravo::bravo::bravo:

I wasn't even thinking about lighting and all that other stuff when I first drew that 2 years ago..I wanted to put something out there, since it was my first time doing digital art.....:lol::lol:

I think that one of the best ways to understand lighting is just by drawing from life or reference over and over again. Try some portraits of your favorite girls, celebs whatever. Draw still life and cars etc… you just have to do it. Matter of fact we should get together a drawing club on Facebook. I'll set one up if the guys are interested, there we can have drawing jams and what not, thats the funnest way to accelerate your learning is by practicing and getting feed back and learning fro others.
