BIG BROTHER 2022 - CONGRATULATIONS

I know I was asking if you do have links for past seasons. You seem like the best person to ask.

Not quite sure, bro. There have been some good seasons over the years, with them dating back to the summer of 2000/2001. Big Brother came on the scene the same spring/summer as Survivor, if I remember correctly.

Definitely cowardly. It's one thing to be racist, sexist, and/or homophobic towards fellow adults ... but shit ... what's worse than picking on people that cannot speak up or defend themselves? More specifically ... children. You're making DISPARAGING comments in regards to a 3rd grader. A child. How ridiculous can one be? My opinion is that bullies like GM and Amanda are just jealous of people like Elissa. Elissa's in her 30s ... has her shit together (husband & children) ... has her career/job intact (haha) ... has that pouty duckmouth and the DSLs, and keeps that body in check as a nutritionist & yoga practitioner. Amanda and GM in comparison? They're 30 or just over, and like Candace made fun of GM weeks ago ... shit ... you're in your 30s, live at home with mom, have a crush on a guy who won't think twice about you OUTSIDE of the BB house, and get that stupid pink tongue piercing outta your mouth. Candace ETHERED GM ... Amanda's proven her bitchassness after months of BULLYING by being an emotional wreck the past week or so. Grasping at straws and trying to suck up to Elissa (BB After Dark) ... crying ... realizing she fucked her wifey McCrae's game over this entire season. Like McCrae said to Elissa on the BB After Dark feed ... he realized he messed his game up by sequestering himself with Amanduh this summer. He doesn't even know how to play the game at this point with the FELLOW HOUSEGUESTS moving forward (if and when Amanduh finally gets evicted). He's spent his whole shit biting his fingernails and laying in bed with his husband, Spongebob Noass.

"Owens lashed out at the show's producers and host Julie Chen, saying that "Big Brother" has highlighted Gries' missteps in a blatant attempt to boost ratings. The series, in which several contestants are isolated without contact with the outside world, has been one of CBS' highest-rated summer performers."

You can obviously tell that shit was written by the PR people they hired.

Why not do an actual interview with the LA Times as opposed to releasing a statement?

They know damn well none of that shit would hold up under the scrutiny of a reporter. A

And then they are smart enough to blame the show, as opposed to any of the people involved, because they want to spin it more as this young innocent sweet white angel being used and damaged for corporate greed as opposed to the truth which is she said and did some fucked up shit and it went out live over the internet which forced CBS to address it on the show, which it took them a while to do. I think if this shit didn't go live over the internet we would have no idea how fucked up and racist these people are because they would have never showed it on the actual show.

Sturmars - Skimmed over last night's BB After Dark (set a season recording for it). Amanda had a long talk with Elissa and basically noted she was grasping at straws ... trying to remain in the game at this point (even though she'll probably be out soon). Did apologize for her words and actions towards Elissa earlier in the season (and the way she conducted herself) ... noted she had to try and remain in the game at this point, as she couldn't just afford to roll over and die. Spent a fair amount of time in bed, as always. Pizza boy joined her for a bit. Tough to say with Amanduh though ... she's the house bully with the crocodile tears. She ain't worth a dog shit.

I never saws that season but that was my first time hearing about Big Brother and I watched the following season. I think that was the Janelle and Kaysar season.

And damn.....it took that long for people to start using "backdoors"? What were they doing those other seasons?

People thought about blindsiding house guest, but nobody went through with it until Nakomis season.

The History of BB’s Backdoor Move

Nakomis-back-door-plan-520x314.jpg

What started as the Big Brother “six-finger plan” has evolved, or devolved actually, into a generic term for blindsiding a contestant with a nomination for eviction. And it’s not just some fans that are getting it all wrong. The players are doing it, too.

So what is backdooring? We asked Big Brother 14 winner Ian Terry to lend us his super-fan knowledge on the matter.
“In order for a HouseGuest to be backdoored,” Ian says, “three conditions must be met:

  1. The HouseGuest must NOT compete in the Power of Veto competition.
  2. The Houseguest must be nominated as a replacement nominee.
  3. The Houseguest must be evicted that week.”
In its truest form, however, backdooring is no longer even possible. The original idea, coined the “Six Finger Plan” by BB5′s Nakomis Dedmon, was used when the eviction nominees and the HOH picked the players they wanted to play in the Veto competition. Today, the players are selected at random. So while backdooring can still occur, it has to include a little luck.

So now that we’ve got the history and definition cleared up, lets take a look at the best backdooring moments in Big Brother history. Ian’s got his obvious favorite, and it of course also tops our list.

“The best backdoor in the history of the show, without any doubt, is when Nakomis backdoored Jase in Big Brother 5,” Ian says. “At the time, the idea was revolutionary, and changed the way future Heads of Household chose their initial nominees for seasons to come.”

1. Nakomis backdoors Jase (Season 5). As I mentioned, Nakomis came up with the Six Finger Plan to get Jase Wirey out. She nominated two people from her own alliance so that they could all control who played in the Power of Veto contest. No one picked Jase, so when the veto was won and used, Nakomis put Jase up as the replacement nominee and he was evicted by a vote of 6-1. He was not given the chance to save himself, aside from regular campaigning.

2. Jeff’s Coup d’Etat (Season 11). In the most unusual backdooring moment in Big Brother history, Jeff Schroeder used the Coup d’Etat to overthrow Chima Simone’s HOH and her nominees, by taking them off the block and putting up Jessie Goddard and Natalie Martinez. Jessie was evicted by a vote of 3-2. And since he was not an initial nominee and did not play in the veto, this is textbook backdoor, only with a twist.

3. April Backdoors James (Season 6). Once the Veto King, James Rhine won the power four times, removing himself from the block twice. A target for most of his run, April Lewis was finally able to get James out the door by winning the power of veto, removing Janelle from the nomination block and putting James up as the replacement. James was sent out by a 4-0 vote.

4. Daniele Backdoors Jen (Season 8). One of the best weeks in Big Brother history, all started when Daniele Donato took Amber Siyavus off the block and replaced her with Jen Johnson. Later Jen received a penalty vote for eating restricted food while on slop and then had it out with Evel Dick Donato in one of the most controversial fights in the show’s history. Jen was evicted by a vote of 6-0.

5. ‘Silent Six’ backdoors Janelle (Season 14). While I don’t think she even understood what she was doing, one of Big Brother 14′s most shocking moments was when Danielle Murphree used Janelle Pierzina as a replacement nominee and the super-popular Big Brother veteran was evicted. Returning players Dan Gheesling and Mike “Boogie” Milan were the puppet masters that week that ultimately lead to Janelle’s demise.

What is your favorite Big Brother backdoor moment?

Ok I stopped watching the feeds til Thursday night. I don't want to spoil my appetite. If Amanda somehow manages to escape death row I wanna see that shit live. Im telling you if she stays im convinced that the show is fixed and im done. CBS can go fuck themselves with their pre determine winners and their love affair with the Reilly family.

Big Brother After Dark - Sept 04, 2013

Gina Marie vs. Amanda pt. I

Gina Marie vs, Amanda pt. II

Gina Marie got in that ASS!!!!

Elissa :smh: Amanda better not survive this eviction. Fucking production

Amanda checking out the ring

BB15 Elissa and Amanda sealing the deal

BB15 Amanda shows Elissa's ring.

BB15 AndyRat plotting against Elissa

Know I was one of the ones calling Andy a snake for playing both sides of the house but if you think about it Andy is really playing smart as hell. he knows he can't win comps so he's using a social game which is far better than anybody else. everyone is only focused on getting Amanda out he's thinking long term to get ALL the strong players out.

Did Gina Marie tell her to drop it like Amanda drops her pants?

Amanda met her match with her. Elissa just laughs at her which hurts her but it hurts her even more when Gina Marie shits on her like that. That same shit Amanda said to Elissa last week Gina Marie hit her with that hurtful shit. And showed no remorse. Told her get the fuck outta here when she started crying.

Usually people who play like Andy get voted out earlier than this. Playing both sides of the house usually bite you in the ass but everybody likes Andy and he's gay so he's lasting further than the usual floater.

Skimmed over yesterday's BB After Dark episode, and that major Amanda/GM confrontation was good entertainment. Props to GM for tearing a strip or two off of Spongebob Squareass. Amanda loves to dish it out and bully, as we all know, and it's good to see an equally as crazy number hang in there and dish it back. Especially with the lack of involvement from the guys. McCrae sitting there like a stunned child, as expected. Judd and Andy giving in and laughing at the absurdity of it all. Spencer doing his best to keep a straight face throughout. GM clapping and laughing ... "And the Academy Award goes to ..." and of course the BOWLERINA challenge, etc. Only reasonable likable person left in the house is Elissa. Show ends in just over 2 weeks or so, right? Amanda's an emotional wreck & embarassment. McCrae ... you could have been a CONTENDER this season, playa. Instead ... you chose silicone & no glutes in your broad Zuckerman? Not well played, homie. Not well played.

ETonline: Forgiveness is something the Big Brother contestants will have to ask from the public in a few weeks. Are you surprised that the hostile tone of this season hasn't really let up at all since day one?
Chen: No. Unfortunately I'm not surprised. Mostly because this season has opened my eyes to human nature. These people are living in a bubble and if you don't get called out or shamed into behaving properly, I don't think you're inclined to change. It just goes to show you who people really are at their core. In the outside world, power and money make people more of who they are at their core, but because money isn't a factor in the house, it's all about power and who's winning competitions and who's in that HOH bedroom. That's when you see if someone is going to be ugly, ugly, ugly. When Aaryn [Gries] lost her posse, she started behaving very differently. I think it's safe to say that if she hadn't been so isolated by losing most of her clique, you would have seen a lot more arrogance and ugliness from her. She's not stupid -- she may be ignorant, but she's not stupid. She wanted to win so she put on a different face with people she would normally despise.

ETonline: CBS and Big Brother distanced themselves from all the contestant's comments with that disclaimer airing at the start of every episode, but at the same time, this has been great for ratings. Do you think the show needs to re-evaluate how they cast the show after this season?
Chen: No, because when Allison [Grodner] came on in season two, we had, purposely, picked Bunky and Kent. Remember Bunky? He was a very open, proud gay man. They also cast this older guy, Kent, who said in his interview that he didn't approve of homosexuality. The pleasant surprise was that they came out of that house as friends. Kent had never really met anyone gay so he made a blanket judgment of huge segments of the population. That worked in everyone's favor because Kent became a more well-rounded human being and it was, probably, beneficial to other gay people in America. So the casting hasn't really ever changed and it shouldn't change next year. If anything, the ignorance in this house this season was a huge headache for the producers and the network. No one wanted that. We've all spent way too many hours dealing with that ugliness.

ETonline: In a few weeks, BB15 will crown a winner. Who do you think has the best chance to win at this point?
Chen: Spencer [laughs]. You know, he's never really had a target on this back and people kid of forget he's there. They don't think he's annoying, they don't think he's a jerk, they don't think he's a threat in this game. He's basically skating on by to the finals. But it all depends on who he's sitting next to because, unfortunately for him, I don't think he's got the respect of the jury. I'm not sure think they'll give someone $500,000 for not really doing anything this whole summer.

Wow Julie went super soft on Amanda.

She deserved more criticism than Aaryn

:smh:

lmaoooooooooooooooooo Elissa is going home if she doesnt win veto
