Its crazy to see the differences in just those videos. The house seems so much bigger even. I definitely think they can take some cues from that show and integrate it into the American version.
I don't think kicking houseguests out would be as easy though. People get attached to characters/people on shows it seems more over here and kicking them out wouldn't work no matter what the reason.
For example in Season 8 Evel Dick would have been kicked out immediately for the shit that he'd done. While I hated dude and think he's a dickhead he was the most entertaining part of that season. Had he been kicked out half way through the season their would have been a negative fan reaction and ratings decline.
I think what the American version needs to do is enact a more strict guideline for houseguests to follow and be diligent in enforcing it. For example for racist, homophobic, etc. type comments there could be warnings followed by punishments (that could play into the game) and if that fails start going after their money they are paid and any prizes they win.
