BIG BROTHER 2022 - CONGRATULATIONS

Ky wanted to fight,Ky should of promised big D he would not X him....but he was too sure of himself winning and he lost the game and his cool.

X's in the photo's with his white step family but his father isn't......Aza has her moments where she's drop dead but then sometimes looks as sad as her ability to compete.

Yo one of the best blindsided and exit.....

when he said "Nobody to show his nephew"...:smh:

I thought X was going to loose it.... that's his nephew of his dead brother....

But Ky doesn't now that... I think....

Xavier's personal stock went up in my opinion and Kyland's weird ass personality went down. You don't bring up a man's recently deceased brother's son. Xavier represents us well.

Haven't seen the episode yet, but have it DVR'ing.

G' - which other series are you currently watching?

Just wrapped up Reservation Dogs yesterday. Have 2 eps to go with Vigil. A few eps left with Ted Lasso. Just past the midway point on Only Murders in the Building. And started Survivor and The Wonder Years yesterday.

Hulu / FX on Hulu ... Res' Dogs is a good mix of the comedic and dramatic. Only Murders is funny with the dynamics at play.

Interesting re: the CBS / Viacom (and MTV) cross-promotions. The Price is Right being a CBS program, like Big Brother.

Been seeing it alot over the years with the Survivor-Amazing Race, and Big Brother - MTV's The Challenge properties.

The current season of The Challenge has a number of international Survivor, Ex on the Beach, and Big Brother players involved (30+ contestants - half from North American shows, half from overseas).

There's a guy on The Challenge named Cory Wharton. He's basically a Viacom / MTV employee at this point. He was on The Real World years ago, as well as Ex on the Beach, a few seasons of Teen Mom, and several seasons of The Challenge. His baby's mom is a cast member on Teen Mom and they co-parent currently, and she herself is an alum of MTV's Are You the One? series. He just had another kid last year - his gf also being an Are You the One? or Ex on the Beach cast alum.

* You wonder if during the application process Kyland was fast-tracked a bit to make it on Big Brother ... as casting directors already knew him from Price is Right some years back. Sometimes you hear casting stories wherein people are "discovered" at bars and whatnot, or on social media (i.e. - they have a built-in fanbase of potential fans = casual viewers for ratings). Other times people will say - "I actually applied to be on Show A, but they suggested I'd be a better fit on Show B."

Yeap....

Bayleigh was on Family Fued in 2018 before BB, which is shot in LA at CBS Studio Center, the same as BB...

Derek Frazier was on MTV's Made in 2013....

It's pretty funny when you can spot the people who were "cast" for their good looks, but haven't actually watched the show and don't know game plans, strategies, alliances (Survivor). Contrast that with people who take this shit seriously. People that study the gameplay and say they are hardcore nerds. Others who haven't missed an ep in 20 years. Others who jumped on board in year 10, and then circled back to the start and watched 10 years of seasons leading up to eventually being cast on the show.

:giggle: :roflmao3:

Love hearing the stories when people say they've been watching since they were a kid, and now have their chance in their 20s. Or those who watch with their parents, or with a grandparent, etc. They're fully invested and are going to play hard.

I hear y'all loud and clear. We've always assumed that contestants just applied online and went through a fair vetting process. BULLSHIT! :bullshit:

In the last two Big Brothers they had this surfer dude. I forgot his name. He was on another reality contest show with Kevin Hart. He said that they just asked him to be on Big Brother.

@Gazoo

I was talking to one of my friends & he's followed The Challenge since jump. I was saying to him I completely understand why contestants go on to become "lifetime contestants" on shows like that. MTV - Viacom keeps bringing them back. It's like a paid vacation once or twice a year. International locations. You get modest pay for your time on the show, BUT if you win there's some big $. Plus you're a "tv star" of sorts. You've been seen for years on a mid-week show (often for months at a time). You build up your IG - Twitter followings and branch off to other projects & of course paid posts.

Just need some of these damn honeys to get their asses on OnlyFans. A decent number did Playboy back in the day.

Here's where they've filmed over the years ...

lol... Tyler... S20 and S22: All Stars...

He wasn't even a "sufer dude"... He was a professional bowler or some shit... lol

He was a "SuperBB fan"... The Sufer Dude was his cover because everybody thought he was dumb...

G' - another point too. Even though taxation is high for these big money prizes on shows like Amazing Race, Big Brother, Survivor ... it's still a nice take-home.

Also ... for a show like Big Brother especially ... compared to other shows out there ... they're on 3 times a week ... for months.

Lots of "tv exposure" for people looking to further extend their time in entertainment.

Or for say runners-up on The Challenge ... there's some decent payouts there too, so a good way to supplement your income. And then get invited back over the years.
