Sometimes in life you learn that it is no benefit to being a "nice guy."
Your cousin, Deron used to date Ashley and at one point you thought they were going to get married and then things took a turn for the worst. The relationship was good for the most part, but then Ashley wanted to have a child and Deron wasn't sure he wanted more children (since he had 2 from his previous marriage), so they ended up going their separate ways.
Ashley ended up dating this idiot that she moved in with and he had a bad habit of putting his hands on her. From time to time she would call you and tell you about her situation and you suggested that she call the police and move on from him. She wanted to, but he would always manage to "sweet talk" her and she would go right back into that situation.
One night, you get a strange phone call from Ashley around 9:00 PM and she explained that her and the abusive boyfriend just had a fight over the phone and she was wondering if she could "hide away" for a few days at your place?
Although, you found Ashley attractive she was like a sister to you after dating your cousin (in spite of the fact they were no longer together out of respect for your cousin you didn't want to sleep with her).
Ashley came over and you let her sleep in the guest room and you stayed in your own bedroom. However, when Ashley got up in the morning she waited for you to get up and told you that she made breakfast for you both...
When you entered the kitchen you see Ashley "slaving over the stove" with nothing on below her waist and to this day you are still wondering how you were able to show restraint and not "jump her bones," but you managed to keep your cool.
After breakfast you ate quickly, very quickly and then went into the living room to watch television. You hoped that this would help get your mind off of the potential of "fooling around" with Ashley and had no idea what you were watching, you just needed something as a distraction.
Of course Ashley didn't care since she is used to getting a lot of attention and came into the living room and sat down with you (but was kind enough to put on some panties).
Then had the nerve to tell you about the time your cousin wanted to invite another girl into their bedroom (a threesome) and she told him that if he did that she might consider having a "threesome" herself and wanted to invite you.
Then she told you that she never told your cousin that, but imagined how things might be if you and her got together.
Ashley asked you:
"Be honest, if I wasn't with your cousin would we have gotten together?"
