Fellas we are still working on search.
We are trying to enable elasticsearch / enhanced search
It's just does a better job than regular search.

Will let you know when we finish

We are doing what should be the last search index rebuild
It usually takes 3 hours
It is now 4:16 PM EST

I'm good, just my 6 month check-up

The search problem is just trying to get the Enhanced Search to not crash.
I doing the rebuild now, I may have to just ride with the regular search.

Certain things need to be paid for. Outside expertise has to be paid for.
I might need to get the current server repaired or upgraded, that cost money.

Think about if for a second, I was asking $10 a year and most folks thought that was too much.
In 2025 dollars that comes out to $14.86 a year. I have a $15 yearly option and most members will not pay that.

In summary, I will continue my plan and hope for the best, if successful I'll be able to generate some ad money,

I wasn't gonna trip nor whine about the search engine not working since you've constantly updated us about fixing it.

Everything is back to normal.

@keone is special needs, he's probably doing something wrong.
 
I surf a few boards and our board is up to date and running way better than most others. Much more, you can actually interact with the owner. Most of y'all wouldn't be able to tolerate the shit that goes on at other sites. Bee Gee Oh El is still the best of the rest.
 
Just so you know that I know.

Search is still screwing up. usually on words that are tied together example: orange+car
or a word that is not a common word.

I probably won't be able to get on it until tomorrow (June-09-2025)
