yup..that was my first and only time too

say the league started in 07 with 12 teams

each team gets to keep their 5 best players every year

so the only way to get better is through the draft or trades (but you dont have any tradable assets)

now imagine replacing a bum who quit the league and you have to deal with his mess

that shit wasnt fun b and yet those niggas didnt even drop me after the year i played

i dont even understand how you can brag on that shit

Keeper leagues are cool. They encourage smart late drafting by GMs.

Typically its top five round protected. So any pick below round 5 you can keep the following year at the cost of two or three rounds higher the following year (depending on league rules).

So if I drafted a then relatively unknown player like Keenan Allen in round 10, and he turned out to be a stud. I could us my keeper on him and it would only cost me a round 8 this years draft.

Team get one or two keepers (depending on rules) but no one has to use them.


Edit: Just saw alex's response. He was in some fuck shit. That aint how keeper leagues are supposed to work.

shit is laughable if you get in that league years after its inception
