Didn't they say in their new commercial that they didn't want to limit their customers? Well this is a limit. They want you to use the cloud. I would rather have my 96gb of space than have to rely on a cloud.
How does one use a cloud in a remote place say in Mali or Senegal or Congo with no internet?

For those who have upgraded their Asus Transformer to a Prime, is there a huge difference in performance? I am seeing some good deals for the first Transformer and I keep reading ICS makes it an even better tablet.

exactly. as long as your device can support memory cards, you will have no need for a cloud service. I have accounts, like dropbox, Box and Minus. But they are just for sharing stuff. I dont rely on them to have access to the stuff. Then i also have Ubuntu One (since Ubuntu is my OS), any time i make a video or take a pic, it automatically goes to my PC and phone.

What widgets pack is that?
the video player and the web? those are not widgets.

I have the iPad 2, the Asus Transformer Prime and just pre-ordered the new iPad but the more I use this Asus, the more I am digging it. I have the keyboard dock and man if Asus would have done better marketing this would be a big stone in the Apple shoe. The only missing feature is the 3g feature but WiFi is everywhere now.

That image says it all... It makes me want to buy a Xoom instead of an iPad but if you live outside of the US, Motorola and Google won't give you a good support or access to all the extra services like Google music...
It's useful if you have a long commute, you can read books, comics, news papers and magazine, watch a movie, or even work... It's also easier to carry than a laptop or netbook..
Googles nexus tablet is reportedly coming in may for 200 or 250 it's made by asus ...it will be 7inches, so that looks like the one I want lol. Then I will trade up to an iPad 3 in the fall. I see no reason for a notebook again, win8 will have locked boot loaders so I won't be able to use Ubuntu anymore unless I get me a few win 7 notebooks... I'm going tablet over notebook now with the Mac at home, for good. Nexus tablet for traveling and iPad for home whn I don't wanna use my Mac.
Are there any places to get these free?

Nice...But just to devil's advocate, with such small screen real estate, honestly, how many people will truly watch a movie while browsing, on the limited 10" screen sized tablet?
Normal use with a screen that size is pause the movie, then browse, and go back to the movie.

Just picked up overskreen and stick it for my zoom running ICS (which I'm on now) and I love it even more.
With the xoom in landscape its not an issue. You can resize both screens to make it tolerable.

Are you serious? Being able to surf the net while watching a movie on a 10" screen is not a dealbreaker...it would be nice just for the sake of it but really is not necessary...I don't even do that on my 17" laptop much less my tablet...
Anybody in the market for a good 7" Tab I highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. Great specs, screen and games seem better on the smaller screen.
how about working on a document, or your finances, anything that involves mathematics, and being able to have a calculator on screen while working on whatever it is you are working on, and not having to keep switching back and forth from app to calculator.

Well that's a fair statement...I see your point there...for me it's not an issue cuz it's just an entertainment device but I can see that being a realistic concern for someone working on the go
