*** BGOL Runners: Motivational Thread for Long Distance Running ***

Props to you brothers. I'm trying to get byke into rhythm. I found running to be very therapeutic for me so much that I stopped about 3 years ago...

Man, you can get back into rhythm.

For me, it was getting through the soreness phase. Once, I got through that, it made it easier to maintain consistency.

continue to move well through the first quarter of the year. I ran 39 miles total March, increasing my distance with a few 10ks and one 8 miler.

I’ve had some lower back issues this past week, but I completed my 6 mile per week goal last Thursday, so I took a week off to tend to the back pain, and got back to running today. No decline in time. The back pain is faint, and isn’t affecting my mobility.

My overall fitness levels are up, and my weight is down to 190. I’m still determining if I want to go lower. That will require a full day of fasting, and low calorie intake afterward. That messes with the carbs I need for running.

My weight is down to 178 versus 190 when I made that post. That’s the lowest I’ve been since high school!

I’m fluctuating between 178 and 185 pounds.

Trust me bro, if it wasn't for this group, id probably not be doing these miles, def not at this pace.
Its pushing me tho. They actually did 5 more miles when i stopped

I have never ran in a group before. I came across running groups while doing solo runs, but never started with a group except for the half marathon race I did a couple of years ago.

I think I may want to run another half-marathon.

Yea thats weird. I mean theres a sliiiiight incline or two, maybe because we went around about 7 times?

It could be a glitch because you would feel the hell out of 633 ft gain. That’s a lot. You’d know when you’re inclining significantly.

My heart rate increases more because I’m putting in more work trying to keep the same pace going up hill.

I’ll, be ready do those long distances soon, especially when the weather cools off here.

When you do compete in future marathons, please make sure to run behind the baddest of heaux in your area ... while wearing a GOPRO and recording all the jiggling eyecandy motivation.

BGOL will thank you.

Thanks in advance, and my apologies to your wife.

The last one I ran was extremely underwhelming with good looking women. You would have been disappointed and if I would have posted the video, I would have been ocked.

Set a new weekly streak of 6 miles or more. Currently at 29 weeks in a row!

My 10k this morning was slower than usual, but I underestimated the humidity this morning. It was brutal. I just wanted to complete the run.
