BGOL Ongoing Formula One Thread: 2026 Season

[Iron Man]

But its in the Universe tho.... Verstappen is HUNGRY..... Hamilton said it himself he's got it all....for now.. .so lets see how many times Max gonan run Lewis off the track this season...

looking forward to the duel between them now that Max has a proper car to take the fight to Mercedes.

Imma Hamilton fan BTW..before you guys start tapping lol

The vs. should be between Bottas and Verstappen, you don't finish 3rd and move to be the threat for 1st place. He need to beat Bottas first.

[Hey Julian!]

[SIDESHOW]

damn... Perez out

[Hey Julian!]

If they’re going for a 1-stop with Verstappen he might have this because the mediums are catching him up to Hamilton pretty quick. If the need to a two-stop, then I think Lewis will hold him off.

[Iron Man]

Perez Red Bull car shutting off at the start got to be on Verstappen mind, is my car next? Seems to be a 3 stop race Red Bull going to need to pit can't see mediums lasting to the end.

[Hey Julian!]

Huh? 3-stop? WTF!! I mean even if they are 3-stopping why stop so soon?

For real, if Merc didn’t stop too soon on the 2nd stop and left Lewis out longer he’s be in better shape for the last laps to battle Max.

nah. Bottas has proven he's a poor wing man to Lewis..... Max is the only one to take it to Lewis....like in Monaco 2018.

He also set another record: Hamilton passed Michael Schumacher’s record of 5,111 for the most laps led in F1 history.

I have to respectfully disagree both 2019-2020 Bottas came in second in championship points, 2018 Max edge out Bottas by 2 championship points Bottas poles more than Max and Lewis and Bottas has consistency Max does not. I don't think Max is going to be a threat for 2021.

We shall agree to disagree Sir...I dont like to call the "put them in different cars" line because each team has a car that is designed around the faster of the two drivers.... Bottas is a Pole maker King...No doubt...but his race pace to me is less than adequate....and we saw how Russell demolished Bottas in that little "put a race driver in a fast car" experiment late last year.....But lets see what the season holds. They have two weeks to fiddle and tune.

Wild start to the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix... it's raining, wet and slippery with cars all over the place.
