That's not her job and whoever handed her the flag is to blame. Either way, the positions weren't about to change. Maybe if Lewis didn't run wide when he was in the DRS Zone a few laps back he could had a shot at Ricciardo, but I doubt he would' e gotten close enough again in two laps to get another chance.

One can only hope but I doubt it. IIRC they put it in because the long straight was too hard on the engines. And safety. And when FIA cut the max straight distance to 1.2 km.

I think Ferrari was faster yesterday, but Lewis just pulled out that extra he always seems to do a Silverstone. Two Ferrari on either side of him will be crazy start. That third steering wheel paddle they have makes them faster starters.
