BGOL Ongoing Formula One Thread: 2025 Season

LH is the dream snatcher, Verstappen was so close to take the lead in championship points and all of the sudden it's Hammer Time.

Great recovery by Hammy... from 9th position on the restart to 2nd position... he definitely showed his class as a driver today.

It was not Verstappen day, he got the jump Hamilton after the safety car, Hamilton took it back and then drove pass Bottas to take first place. Bottas did a tire change towards to end to get fastest lap point, Verstappen turn around done the same at lap 65, thought he took the fastest lap point, but the race stewards took it away due to track limits violation. Great race overall.

Starting to think Hamilton is purposely letting Verstappen take the lead from lights out, he's tired of flat out winning races from pole.

lol. I hear ya, but the amazing thing is F1 is a young man's game and Lewis isn't a spring chicken. Crashstappen is young and VERY talented and that RB16B ain't no joke. Whatever Ross Brawn did to the chassis back in 2008 is still working because the car is still crazy racey in the technical parts.
What's amazing is that Lewis can win against that - as well as the powers-that-be instituting rules changes designed with him (and Merc) in mind. Funny, I didn't see any of that shit when schumacher and vettel were winning all those championships.

Ham in 7th place on the starting grid.... it's going to be a very interesting race on a circuit that's hard to overtake on.... pit stop strategy may just play a big part in deciding the winner.
