I heard K'La's song first, it's on a mixtape that came out in 2013. She's a singer/rapper/spoken word artist from Gary, Indiana that I first heard doing her version of Luda's Sex Room, it was played on the radio and I had to do some CSI work to find out who it was. Been a fan every since.

Kendrick and his producers sampled "Meet the Frownies" for "The Recipe." Two cuts close to each other in years. And a bonus track as well. I need that. It happens.

Maybe Scarface wanted to create an OG version of GKMC. There's some great music on Deeply Rooted.

Same "beat" and same sample are two different things. They just both used the same sample. The Scarface version doesn't even have drums behind it.
