I'm in favor of the new rules. I was in favor of them when they first dropped. But you've got to see that they're not enforced right? You don't see how the hate is allowed no matter where it's coming from?

Lexx came at me for something he's pretending i did. And then made the pronouncements he did. Are those pronouncements for everyone? He said they were.

I'm very happy about that. Because that means no more useless ocks. No more bashing of bw. Or bm. No tearing each other apart. No more threads about killing black boys, sending them to prison. No more threads about shitting on black kidnapped possibly murdered girls.

I know that BGOL has always prided itself in being this place where a lot of shit talking goes down, but over a period of time, this site has gradually devolved into a really hate filled cess pool of puerile stupidity where online peeps hold ridiculous grudges and just say all kinds of outrageous shit just for shock value.

If there are new rules in place to deal with people who go beyond acceptable rough and tumble hijinks and go on hateful misogynistc,sexist or blatantly racist rampages, let the ban hammer drop with unbiased regularity regardless of gender.

That's my personal take on the matter.

I used to love BGOL with a passion but now this place is becoming more of a chore than it's worth.

The world is changing around us everyday and some peeps wanna stay stuck on stupid.

Saying that a majority of Black men universally hate Black women is just as false as saying that a majority of Black Women hate Black men.

Sure there are a minority of so-called brothas and sistas who like to stir the regressionist pot in here from time-to-time but does that mean that the majority should get called out for the stupidity of the few? Especially as there's no way for any of us to know who's really Black on this site.

I personally feel that anyone setting up a thread to denigrate, degrade bash Black women/Black men, should be automatically permabanned with full IP block protocols applied.

In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with discussing some of the ills that affect the global Black community in a respectful manner with a view to looking at positive solutions but when degrading threads are being started willy nilly with all types of hateful comments being thrown around, it's time to draw a line in the sand.

There's no reason on earth why anyone should be talking about Ghetto Gagger videos on this site let alone actively seeking out links for that racist bullshit without being summarily being called out for being racist themselves or just straight up sold out on that self hate shit.

The fact that BGOL is seen as being a porn site by some, does not mean that we should be celebrating the hatred of any women especially Black women.

This goes to my point kind of. if you have a town and allow people to harm each other with sticks. You have no rules but there are sticks laying around so people harm each other with sticks.
