BGOL home owners, have yall ever been burdened with groundhogs borrowing around your house/property?

This is the 3rd groundhog in 3 years that I have trapped, took 9 miles to a heavily wooded Metropark and released, 3 years in a row. They come around and dig these fucking holes against my house.

They say if you don't take them at least 5 miles away, they will typically find their way back to your crib.

get some coyote urine and spray it around

but unless you have plants and veggies to eat are they acutally doing any damage?

Fuck yes! Groundhogs (woodchucks) can cause significant structural damage. By digging intricate tunnel systems up to 6 feet deep and 50 feet long, they remove the foundational soil supporting concrete slabs, patios, and home foundations. This compromises structural integrity and redirects rainwater, which can cause severe erosion and foundation failure.
