I've been hesitant to use this and its being offered more and more.

My sister got it a long time ago and they like triple charged her one month and a bunch of her other checks bounced and it was hell to get the bank to credit her.

So I want to know if ya'll use it?

Do you use it with ALL your bills?

Have you ever had any issues?

And what are the real benefits?

We thinking on using it on maybe just the credit cards...

Thanks fam....

automatic pay with my credit card.........
pay balance in full every month.......
no interest charges......
use the reward points to fly out of town once they build up......
simple and easy.....

I use auto pay through Bank of America. I mostly use it on charges I know won't change. For example my car note or a mortgage or cell phone bill. For other bills I look at them before I pay them to make sure everything is ok.

Exactly

Ive been using this for about 2 years now with no issue. Use it for my car note, my power, cable, insurance and home insurance. I have my account setup for text alerts for all transactions so whenever a payment comes out it shoots the amount and balance to my phone. I also get emails which come to my phone that I have set into filters for each bill. Basically i'm able to run full accounting and bill balancing from my phone. The only reason I even use my mailbox is to clean that bitch out from all the junkmail.

WOW...best one yet!

Fuck that I pay u when i want to. I dont like no hands automatically in my acct. I like to see the bill/balance 1st then if it looks ok Ill pay you. ATT/DirectV stay fucking up my shit

When you use e-bill they send you a copy of the bill via email before they take the payment out anyways. And almost everyone offers e-bill now.

Only with a cc never in my account. You can't get money back from your bank account while everyone else wants their cut no matter what.

This is why I have two accounts. 90% of my direct deposits automatically go into my savings. I only keep enough money in my checking account for bills and spending money. BOA lets you break your deposits down into percentages for different accounts.

ebills are ok - I was referring to the auto pay option that is offered when u pay a bill at the merchants website sometimes if you dont pay attention it might b checked by default

Similar to Fatsack1. Direct/automatic payment from CC ... pay my balance in full every month and put my points towards free groceries every so often. I put my cable bundle (TV/Phone/Internet) and cellphone on same, and also pay all my large purchases, groceries, and gas with the same CC.

Never had a problem for 10 years doing it. Only bill that is not e-paid is the water bill. The reason for my change was the anthrax scare here in DC and I had 3 bills that never made it when they shredded all the mail at a few outpost post offices in MD. Add to the fact I hate writing checks and going to the post office to buy stamps.

That's exactly what I do. 1 acct for deposits and spending, 1 acct to pay bills and I keep very lil money in it. If I choose not to/can't pay a bill, bitch ass companies won't be DEBO'n me out my money. I smarten'd up.;)

i've been doing online banking for 10 years,,, i only have like 1 or 2 bills that pay automatically,,, majority i just type in & pay it online, when i receive the bill in the mail,,, that way you can always see your balance,,, no problems

I pay using my ING account. Free, no fees, on time. As for automatic, I do that on some bills that are set in stone. Like a card I'm paying off. Other shit like phone bills, hell naw. I gotta see what these greezy bastards come with each month. Weird charges ALWAYS come up.

Youre still fucking with BOA....SMH

Nah, I just log in and pay it off. Every thing has an app now, so just pay it with your phone. But there are certain things that require automatic withdrawal from your account: home insurance, car insurance, gym membership. Been with TD bank for like 15 years now and never had an issue with my money.

This. Cashback is always appreciated. Then pay in full.

Besides that, student loans got the the ACH treatment for that interest rate discount. Glad I paid that Bitch in full years ago though.

i do it for my mortgage, car note, and utilities....(except cable).
AT&T has made more than quite a few attempts of draftin money out my account when it wasnt time to and sometimes taking two payments.
Then try to say it'll take 8 to 10 days for them to credit it back to your account......or better yet.....try to convince you to
let it apply to the next bill.....and end up charging u the full amount of the next bill instead of what you overrpaid.
Fuck that.....u took my money now......i want it back NOW!

Think folks...do you really want any corp. to have auto-access to your $$$...?

This is cool. I'm with everything except I very rarely use the flight points. I've got to get a rewards card. Any suggestions?

Insurance is the only thing I have set to auto pay. Everything else I remember to manually do it because I don't want any screw ups and my paydates aren't always the same. Once I was done paying off my car and student loans I got more diligent about every transactions that I do.
