I am seriously thinking about this product. I have gone through a couple of wireless routers and still have problems with connectivity. It seems that my router is constantly searching, "Wi-FI Looking for Network."

Any recommendations?

I have a set of Belkin Gigabit ones for my bedroom upstairs and they work good. Never used this brand. I just have my TV's PC (Acer Revo) plugged into it to watch movies.

sounds like a good find!

don't really like setting up wifi for a home network, especially with so many hackers around here, so I had to invest in the old fashioned switch and cable setup to connect the house's pc and gaming setup..
this would at least save me from having to get spools of cable again.

Pretty good deal.. just know that for powerline networking in general, how well it works depends on your house's electrical wiring and how far apart the adapters will be. I've used 3 different models and they all worked OK for a short period of time until the speeds started to drop off. My living room is on a different floor from my office where the server, modem and router are located.

I recently switched to MoCa networking (multimedia over coax) which is the same concept but uses your cable lines. Cheapest way is to go with some old Verizon Fios routers they sell on eBay (Actiontec MI424WR). You basically disable the router functionality (http://www.avsforum.com/t/1145636/actiontec-mi424wr-a-cheap-moca-bridge-for-all)

I will say powerline is a bit easier to set up since it's plug-n-play. MoCA has been more reliable for me but you may notice some interference with cable.

My point is.. your miles may vary. I'll say that after everything I've tried, I've come to find there's really no substitute for good ol' hardwiring.:yes:
