I'd say Shaq...was tempted to say Duncan mostly cuz he's still playing

Shaq......to me Tim Duncan along with KG are centers who had to play PF because they weren't tough enough to play Center.

I'd roll with Tim just because I respect dude's grind. Four chips, 3 finals MVP, 2 regular season MVP, and he did it all calm and quiet like. No team jumping or attention whoring. And he got the Spurs to the finals repeatedly during a time when Stern had the refs doing everything short of tripping people in order to get a big market team in the finals.

I'm gonna go with Duncan. Shaq got his rings playing alongside dominant players. He either got his ring with D.Wade and co. or got it with Kobe and co. Wade and Kobe will go down as top 50 players in league history. Duncan never had that. Not to mention Duncan's game was simply nicer. Shaq relied on his size, athleticism and strength. Duncan was more finesse and dominated on skill. No 7 footer could run a fast break and dish it like Duncan.

I'm giving it to Duncan because if it wasn't for him the Spurs would've never been a Dynasty.

Shaq may have been a better "center" but if we talking who had the better NBA career? I was more impressed with Duncan.

I would go Shaq but its closer than people think. Shag dominance in the early 2000...:eek::eek: He made big men look small..:smh:

Wow, that is a tough one.... I want to say Shaq, but I can't... can't say Timmy either.... I know the debate I will take to Barber Shop on Wednesday tho.... Good damn question.

Duncan, GOAT power forward, more MVPs, same number of Titles, one team, still putting up all-star numbers in late 30s, always in shape. My biggest complaint about Shaq is he should have won more but didn't stay in shape enough to accomplish it...

Duncan...8 times NBA 1st team All-defense
5 times NBA 2nd team All-defense

Shaq was lazy and it cost him big time as he got older...

Duncan didn't take a beating in his career because he did not have to take a beating. His game was so complete and diverse offensively that he could kill you with a multitude of different styles. Shaq had power and nothing else...

San Antonio as organization has been so good at drafting & then lucky enough to have a humble superstar. Its almost not fair.

As Laker fan

An LA resident

I give to Dunc.... Ah Shaq

Duncan is/was the greatest to ever play his position

Shaq underachieved at his

Tim D for the win

Yeah same here but then I noticed Shaq played 19 years and Duncan is in his 15th. Shaq's 15th season numbers were very similar to Duncan's now.

Shaq never made 1st team All-Defense because there were always more deserving big guys who were better around defenders (Robinson, B. Wallace, Mourning)

I guess it comes down to the better free throw shooter

Def...when all is said and done (Tim retires) I'd def feel more comfortable giving the nod to him

man this is a real tough choice
I like SHAQ complete paint dominance throughout his career
but I give the BIG FUNDAMENTAL the nod on a better career

I'm rolling with Shaq the most dominant big man since wilt ..he had dudes 'out there lookin like babies when he was in his prime but don't sleep on timmy top 3 pf of alltime maybe the best pf depending on who u ask

Shaq all the fucking way Duncan is nice but he ain't fucking with Shaq...they made rule for Shaq ...rules real talk

ROFL @ 95% of the people saying Shaq in here but in the Polls, Duncan is killing him...

:lol::lol::lol:

Silent ass niggas selecting Duncan but scared to give their argument.

WTF

Shaq >>>> Duncan

If you ever watched them play each other Ducan was intimidated by Shaq. Ducan is the Tom Brady of the NBA a above average player with a excellent coach.

ask yourself this pick up game in there prime ...are you picking tim duncan over shaq fuck no
Why would one ask oneself this question when it wasnt the OP or poll question nor does it have anything to do with it?

btw- I would take Duncan in a pick up game and run Shaq fat ass out the gym.

Shaq never got props for his defense but how many times have you seen anyone driving hole with him under the glass? How many times have you seen him get dunked on? Shaq walking on the court makes his teammates better Ducan teammates were good even when he was not in the game.
