Better Actor Ving Rhames or Larry Fishburne

I can’t watch Cheadle especially when he took over the role of James Rhodes/War Machine in Iron Man. I think Terrance Howard was more like able and believable in the first Iron Man.

Another slept on contender is Giancarlo Esposito. He has come a long way since School Daze.

its almost impossible to have a 1 to 1 comparison when it comes to movies and actors.

I ran a tournament on my FB page on the top films from the 70s one time. Many people complained that the films didn’t match up fairly, but I found that it almost makes you critically think.

For example, Coming to America versus Boyz N the Hood. Two totally different films, but supreme classics. If you give a poll and tell people they have to choose between those two films, they’ll lose their shit. Lol

I remember when I made the conscious decision to question Washington after watching Cheadle’s body of work, then they worked together and I was like WOW, these are two greats, but Don got my vote.

Definitely not more accomplished than Fishburn. I just think he is one of those actors that always shines in his roles, but just doesn’t get the major ones at the same rate of A listers.

Fishburne is more comparable to DeNiro and Denzel and Pacino, Walken, Poitier
Ving Rhames is an excellent actor though. No mistaking that and been around since the mid 80's.

Honorable mention to Esposito. Spike Lee knew what he was doing hiring that guy

it's acting, and it's really difficult to play that type of character.
