Love me some Brownstone. Had a crush on a chick in High school looked just like the lead singer. Was fine as fuck with some big ass titties.

But didn't Brownstone have two lead singers? Didn't the original girl get sick or something? They went down after that IIRC. And weren't they produced by MJ?

That was what was so hot, they could all sing like shit. The one with the braids died i think. They was first act signed to MJJ Records followed by Quo, member them? Two lil bald Asian rappers oh the 90s!

Brownstone may not have had the commercial success that SWV had, but they were much better vocalists IMO.
I loved Brownstone. Plus the lead singer looked like this pretty ass big tittie chick I had a crush on back in the day named Bernadette. A wife and two kids later and I'm still looking for dat phenomenal bitch!!! :inlove:

I liked Total, thought the first lp was very good. The thing with almost all of these named groups is they have a strong lead singer and a few bgs which IMO doesn't produce very deep harmonies. Most of which were overdubbed anyway.

I present a group that all of them sang lead and what's more their harmonies were impeccable.

I see im
Late to this party.
Who’s first tier, then?

Personal bias alert!
There is no female R&B group over SWV. Excluding no group.

En Vogue not falling into the 90's group?
Same thing I was curious about but at the top of the thread, they had En Vogue and TLC as the top tier, the “A” list.
As much as I used to love En Vogue (Lordt, how I used to love Dawn and Cindy as a shorty…) and TLC (they were all bad but I had it bad for Left Eye) , I would still edge SWV over both of them.

Here for the smoke.
