I almost feel guilty making this post...........

I just moved back to the Atlanta area from Los Angeles, and when I am training, and not in the mood for cooking, I usually hit up a chicken joint (no skin). To my delight, I discovered that an El Pollo Loco just opened up in Austell today. So I made the trip (cause I was getting the jitters).

So I wanna know, what's the good chicken spot in "YOUR" neck of the woods?

Actually, it doesn't.............................but I know that word flies around here like Delta Jets over College Park.

well i dont eat fried chicken anymore...nor do i eat fast foods....LIVE HEALTHY
.........but when i did...these two joints were my main spots.
if you like fried chicken and fish, and you ever visit chicago...check out Harolds......the one in the 100's and its 2 others...i forgot the addresses...one out west and another 1 out south.

My girl's momma is from Memphis and she put me on to Gus's. Everytime we go down there its always on point. She said it was on the food channel or the travel channel with rachel ray. piping hot chicken that is straight FIYA!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been in Denver for about 6 months now and haven't found THAT SPOT yet so i stick to popeye's

DAMN!!!! You put Baba's up. Those leomonades are fire. On the real though, Uncle Remus on Madison and Central is crushing Harolds.

being that you came from la...how does the new spots stack against roscoe's?

when i have to have it...roscoe's is where i go. good for you? not at all. good though? :yes:

I generally fry the chicken myself, cause places round here give me tiny ass wings and shit.

D Motown Deli is the spot I go to to get wings when I don't make them myself.

i used to always order from this bomb chinese spot in Burbank called Yen Chen,they made the best fried chicken but they went out of business last year

roscoes chicken is alright, i always liked there chicken fried steak the most

overall tho right now i'd say El Pollo Loco has the best tasting chicken

Welp...if you only have like 4 bux and some change, u can't go wrong with a 6 piece with rice from Timmy Chan's...But if u want prolly the best chicken Houston has to offer, you need to hit up Frenchy's in 3rd ward..near U of H and T.S.U....be prepared to wait in some long ass lines.

Hartz chicken ain't too bad either..they have a buffet, so all you can eat.

All of these places are guaranteed to give u the 'itis afterwards.

There used to be this place where you could get skinless fried chicken. It was around the way for awhile but I guess it was too healthy for the negroes...

Crowns chicken, Kenedy fried chicken, and this spot on the corner of communipaw and westside if you know a bout jersey city youll figure it out its across from new flavor cuts

They had a roscoes in bk for a hot minute.. got run out high ass prices for a dry ass chicken and waffle. havent been in the chi in a while but harolds was the bomb imo

I was a student at U of H in the 80's and loved me some Frenchy's chicken. A campus special keep me going back in the day. I need to get back to H-Town and hit them up again.
