The truth is Sanders wouldn't get most of the middle, upper-middle class folks. They're technically only Democrats for social reasons. They realize they're going to take a financial hit but feel it's worth it. Enter Sanders talking about raising taxes to fund even more shit for the poor and even they will start to say fuck the poor.
