crazy thing is it was dope until dude tried to compare hopkins to pbf. then it went down hill.

and
but definitely not a surprising response.
Like I said, you have an obvious M.O. and it is very transparent. However, you need to learn how to argue. As opposed to filling your responses with logical fallacies, you should start with a solid premise and back it up with some nice suppositions at least. But, you think claiming speculations ( the intentions of someone) is going to pass as facts because YOU are claiming it, you can take that shit back to 2nd grade homie. That shit will not fly here. And the strawman of claiming someone as a Floyd fan is not going to fly either. This actually has nothing to do with a positive or negative feeling about a boxer. This is just pretty got-damn obvious regardless of the personal sentiment about the said boxer. To come to your conclusion, you have to a.) know nothing about boxing or even professional sports in general because floyd has transcended boxing or b) be completely skewed in such a sense that is warps your view to the point that is becomes myopic IF you come to the conclusion that Floyd needs any one fighter to make a big fight....same thing can be said for Pacman..but Floyd does even bigger numbers than Pacman but for the opposite reasons. You fit into category b CLEARLY.
Keep the pre-school arguments to children. You are debating with an adult here. I am a fan of boxing..not boxers. My posts regarding a possible Campbell-Floyd fight illustrates that very clearly.

First of All...Fuck all Ya Niggas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On the real though, even though I do have very serious problems with PBF level of competition, I'm real pissed because I got sucked in to a group trip with my Frat Brothers to go to this shit, chipped in and brought a block of rooms, and paid for my Airline Tickets and shit, and when the fight didn't come off, and I 60-40% blame PBF, I'm out like 2G's...so on the real, all this testing and bullshit, got me mad than a motherfucker!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()
lol, so now maybe we can get back to the subject. BHop is just taking a fight he always wanted. And he is going to inflict a lot of pain on rjj. bhop will carry him for 9 rounds then crush him in the tenth.

You might be right.. B-Hop hates RJJ and he wants to make him feel it in the ring, but this is all personal shit that boxing fans won't support at this point.

After the RJJ loss to Greene.. I thought the fight was dead...but I think BHop is not going to let anything keep him from giving it to RJJ...this shit is beyond personal for these two...
I think it's more personal for Hops than it is for Jones. I think the only reason Jones is entertaining Hops right now is because he believes that even in his fallen state he can beat Hops and a victory over Hops will salvage at least some of his credibility as an active fighter. Jones is really taking a gamble here but just on styles alone, Jones should win. However, Jones' chin is treacherous right now.
nigga are you crazy? You are a RJJ's fan to the bitter end. Jones only looks good against slow brawlers. I'm sorry dude, but its over.
I think you have a problem with almost every single opinion of mine but that's cool. Anyway, I'm talking about styles man. That's why I said, "on styles alone." Also, Hops is not the fastest guy and his workrate in the ring has been hot and cold. Hops is old too. He is bound to look his age at any moment. If he comes in barely throwing punches like in the Calzaghe fight, just on styles alone he might let Jones get confident and get outpointed.I think you have a problem with almost every single opinion of mine but that's cool. I know it's over. It's been over for almost ten years now. Damn, 2003 was that long ago.

You actually think Jones has a chance to win this fight....Styles can create for great matchup problems but I think you are still seeing the roy jones from the early 2000s... dude really hasnt look good in a long time man...unless he gets some miracle age-decreasing juice in his system, I think he will get brutally outclassed in this fight... Jones just looks like he has nothing left in the tank man...
Who the fuck used the word HATERS. I have never used that word before in my life.
However, it is extremely obvious that you two cats are extremely biased beyond reason.
Anyone can kill Floyd based on his weaker resume. I have even done it. I even started a thread about his resume..especially when he announced his retirement.
However, one of my favorite fighters, Shane Mosely is dying for one more big money fight before he hangs it up. THAT is a fighter who is thirsty for one major prize fight because he doesnt have much left in the tank.
You mofos are stupid with these Floyd needing Pacman shit. Come on.. live in reality man... Floyd is one of the biggest names in the sports... demands big money because he can sell ppv, and has very little wear and tear on his body and is still mad young... those are the facts... Floyd doesnt lose anymore than Pacman loses by not making this fight. They both lose.
You said you entire post was based on facts.
Unless you are actually Floyd, how the hell is your speculation on his intention a FACT...
You are way too transparent with your responses. That is why it is hard to take you cats serious because you let your personal biases cloud your thoughts and you dont respond with anything reasonable.
You got-damn idiot.. name one thing that states anything about worshipping floyd. Only thing I told you were the facts about his position in the sport and ability to make big fights. I can be LEGITIMATELY more critical of Floyd than you can with this 3rd grade argument you are putting together...nigga please
Plus..you are the cat that cant keep Floyd out of your mouth..i hardly even reply in those threads anymore .. but you have an almost borderline obsession with the dude to the point where you will vomit nonsense and try to pawn them off as facts...smh
-inducing but it's not like the light heavy division is a deep pool of top fighters like lightweight or super middle. Dude is looking for one big payday before he goes out.whattup Dave? Welcome to the thread. Even though we have had our moments I definitely enjoy your insight.
I see RJJ with a very outside chance to beat BHop but his biggest issue is he has no versatility as a fighter. His losses have come when fighters have taken him out of his comfort zone. BHop on the other hand BHop has shown more facets of his game (see his trinidad and pavlik wins). Don't know if he knocks RJJ out but this is personal so I see him handing RJJ a beating. I also see him if he continues to fight either staying away from the serious young lions or possibly look for one more big challenge (Haye?) or continuing his grudge tour with a James Toney fight.
Now for Bernard
He dominated the middleweight division but to say he's ducked top comp at light heavyweight is a stretch. He definitely wants no part of Chad Dawson and a fight with Roy is-inducing but it's not like the light heavy division is a deep pool of top fighters like lightweight or super middle. Dude is looking for one big payday before he goes out.
I know Hopkins is very respected and no one wants to talk bad about him but he's been at lightheavy since 2006 and has only fought one light heavy. Based on that, i don't see why it's a stretch to say he's ducked top comp at light heavy.
I know about all the great things he did at middleweight, I know he's old, etc. But, at 175 Hops shouldn't even be rated because he's not competing with other 175 pounders. Jones will be the first 175 pounder he will have fought in about 4 years and Jones just finished getting knocked out in the first round.
Before you guys get all bent out of shape, I would like to stress again that I am referring to Hopkins' work at 175.
actually bhop says his plans are rjj then the winner of hayes-ruiz.
To me, you've made that clear. I'll say he's ducked Chad Dawson but after Dawson there isn't much left for anybody. There are fighters sure but it's not one of the great divisions in boxing. If he beat Tavoris Cloud or Jean Pascal, no one would care. Those are fights where he would have everything to lose and nothing to gain. Not fighting nobodies isn't the same as ducking.
Any work he's done at light heavy is gravy to his Hall of Fame career.
That's what his mouth says. Both of those guys are campaigning at heavyweight. If he wanted to go to heavy, what's he been waiting for. I don't expect him to fight a Klitschko but there have been other guys with titles in that division.
His body was breaking down on him before the Hatton fight, so I see him with 3 at the most (whoever on the 13th, Shane/Berto winner, Pacquiao). While I don't like his options for the March 13th fight (he should wait for May 1), I doubt he's going to get someone that's going to stir the interest of fight fans. Pac picking Clottey gave him an instant advantage in the public affairs battle between the two.
I don't B fighting after the Roy fight. I think he feels he has something to prove fighting Roy but after that, what's left for him? .
With that said Hopkins get's props for taking on other champions and etc., but he needs to quit with this RJJ shit.

Nigga act like B-hop shouldn't be retired and a hall of famer based on his middle weight work alone. Hopkins is an old man...he's been old for a long time and niggas expect him to have a second career at light heavy? Come on, I give the nigga props just for fighting decent at his age. B-hop and Chad Dawson would have been great, but I don't blame an old fighter who still has his health/mental faculties to be careful about his fights. With that said Hopkins get's props for taking on other champions and etc., but he needs to quit with this RJJ shit.
On the other side of this Roy needs to stop before he ends up like Holyfield.
You really think that. I dont think he is even considering retirement right now and beating Roy at this point really proves nothing.
It's almost like Frazier beating up on Ali right now.
Supposedly Floyd is going to fight Shane Mosley on May 1st. Ive been waiting for this one for years. Besides Floyd always have those brittle ass hands, I dont see anything with his body breaking down. He hardly takes any punishment in the ring.
No one expects him to have a second career at light heavyweight but if he is still an active fighter he can still be talked about. Is he active or is he not? If he's active than I don't see what's wrong about speculating regarding his future opponents or expecting him to fight decent competition in or above his own weight class. That doesn't mean he's not getting props for what he did in the past.
Why do you want Hops to quit with the RJ shit? I would think that would be part of him being careful about his fights as you said. I can't really think of a safer high profile fight for him unless he fights another guy from a lower division yet again.
Regarding the previous comparison with Hops and PBF, I'll just say this. These were Hopkins' biggest career wins: De la Hoya, Trinidad, Wright, Pavlik, and Tarver. What do most of these guys have in common? I'll leave that to you'll to answer.
During the "24/7" build to the Hatton fight, he talked about his shoulders and his back hurting severely.
He's been training and fighting for almost his entire life and it may be catching up to him. It happens to all athletes at different times. Similar to young centers/power forwards in the NBA like Jermaine O'Neal and Theo Ratliff, who gain a lot from playing grown men at an early age but their bodies suffer in the long term, shortening their effectiveness later.

I'm giving him the Trinidad one because he was (wrongly)the underdog but those other fights were fights he absolutely should have won witht the exception of the Wright fight (which he ugly-ed up enough to win).
