Bellator fights on NOW

It was great to see Gallagher get stopped in the 1st round yesterday. So much self over-hype & disrespect shown towards the opponent ... only to get embarassed by him minutes later. The crowd was really feeling it ... watched it off the DVR.

This was the first i've heard of him and as soon as i heard him talk i thought this muthafucka sounds like Conor i bet he's tryin to be the 2.0 version.:smh:

So it was nice to see him get his ass beat, dude needs to focus on the craft and stop tryin to be like other fighters because therez only one Conor.

Agreed. I guess they train at the same gym there in Ireland. Probably have the same management, or ties, etc. Trying way too hard given his skill set. He's a good fighter, NOT a great fighter. Had seen some of his prior bouts and that sweet chin music and follow up ground and pound was poetic justice with him taunting his opposition. All in under a round. Was really happy to see him get silenced in highlight reel fashion and the crowd cheer on his opponent. The only highlight for him that night was actually showing sportsmanship in defeat and acknowledging the winner properly. Didn't think he would actually do that.

Yeah - it was a strange couple of minutes. Glad to see he got served up in highlight reel fashion. Thought he would continue to be an asshole post-fight. But he flipped the script and was legit with congratulating the winner. A semi-redemption of sorts. Strange.

Side note - that sidekick to the face from Bandejas was the truth!!!
