It's not the rate. Don't get fixated on the %.

Think about the ABSOLUTE VALUE.

Using an extreme example here.
Saying 50% of my population has a deadly disease is a tragic thing when there's only 10 people in your population. That means there's 5 clean people left.

When you have 100 people in your in population, you'll be fine.
You have 50 clean people.

It's the absolute value ... the number of people that makes you raise and eyebrow.

Brazil I think has like 150MM people living in the country.
America is in the 300MM range.

So although the %'s are exactly the same --- their are FAR LESS CLEAN and HEALTHY people in Brazil simply because of the number of people being less to start with.
LMAO! Man your argument only makes the slightest bit of sense when you use EXTREME numbers like you did. And even then it’s def a reach. If I live in a country with a population of 12 people and 6 are clean 3 of the 6 are women so basically me and two other men have 1 chick a piece. Now if I live in a country of 100 people and 50 are clean, of the 50 25 are women. So again myself and 24 other dudes have 25 chicks to choose from. Basically 1 broad a piece. I don’t even know why I’m even entertaining this crazyness. LOL

In any case according to wiki there are 660k AIDS cases in Brazil out of a population of about 191 million. That leaves about 190.3 million people clean, as you say. Assuming half are men that leaves about 95 million women. So the idea that the absolute value of clean people will affect you at all is utterly ridiculous.

Sooooooo, wouldn't there also be far less unhealthy and Aids infected people as well?

Your logic makes no sense..

Your probability of running across an infected person is higher because the population is smaller and more condensed.
Take a statistics course and you'll understand what I'm saying better.
