fuck these niggas playa, im taking the bar this july we need more brothers in this profession i say you go for it obviously you took the time to apply and i know that took some effort so your more than likely already decided, but just be serious about your decision because it's not a game!! Law school is going to be the most challenging thing you will ever experience so get some books on the topic and brace yourself because it takes an individual with strong will to make it.
 
Considering that you let anonymous people on a porno board make your life altering decisions, I'd have to say no law school for you. Try McDonald's Burger University, champ.
 
Go to school so long as you do your research on the school before you go. It does not matter that it is not a top 10 school. Research it and know what the hell you are getting into.
 
No...if your uncertain enough to ask strangers on a porn board you definitely don't need to be making decisions in a court room or what-not.

I'm very interested in patent law...I'm thinking about working at the USPTO after law school (i'm still an undergrad)...what info do you have on this field of law? (HIGHLY interested)

To be able to get into Patent Law, you need to have a science or computer based degree like Biology and Computer Information Systems. You then have to pass both the regular Bar and a Patent Bar once you are finished school I do believe. But I hear it is very lucrative in terms of job openings and salary wise.

somewhat true. To work for the U.S. gov't all you need is to get in the door. Most gov't jobs pay shit starting out, but then get pay grade increases later. But the benefits and the vacation can't be beat. Just get on any agency in the gov't (doesn't matter) and transfer in.

My homegirl was working at National Institutes of Health in a lab, applied to US Patent Office with no law degree and got a job there reviewing patents and actually made more loot than with a PhD in Chemistry working on Cancer research. :-(

So just get on at the gov't while you in school and do what you do. They might even pay of law school...

If you truly enjoy law, don't worry about how much money you might make right away as a lawyer.
I'll be starting law school soon myself and couldn't imagine having stopped now after all the work I've already put in
Don't let some of these crab niggas try to convince you that going to school is just a waste of time and money just because THEY couldn't do it

I'm thinking of downloading one of those Latin Rossetta Stone CD's to learn Latin (I don't know a whole lot of it right now)
Is it really necessary to be proficient in the language?
