IF any body gets screwed it should be Ohio State.

They lost late in the season, they played no one, and had a weak conference
where as UGA lost early, played four ranked teams, and beat UF and AU by two touchdowns. Since 10/6 they have gone undefeated, they have outscored their opp 206 to 131. They put up 40+ three weeks in a row..back to back against UF and AU....so i hope they screw OSU and bless the DAWGS....

UGA vs LSU---SEC NATIONAL CHAMP GAME

I will be shocked if they pull a 2001-2002 and put Georgia in the BCS national championship game. I mean shoot, if they beat OSU, then you're tellin me that a team that didn't win their division can be the national champion? Ummmmmmmm no.

so what about them years norte dame won it....they dont have a divison... I mean damn....say what u will say...the won 5 str8 games..worked they way up and yall wanna hate on them

LSU doesn't have a chance Georgia, Kansas, and Virginia Tech are ranked before them and Virginia Tech won their game tonight which should boost them in the NC game. Kansas played some good games and lost against a ranked team, which might help them move up too. I just don't see LSU getting there.:smh::smh:

Edit: I do want to see LSU and USC, so I hope it happens, bout time my USC get it running.

LSU vs USC fuck it, give us what we wantd to see since the beginning

Agreed. UGAy in the national title game would make another mockery of the game just like putting Ohio State in last year.

I was looking forward to seeing WVU vs. LSU but WVU obviously dropped the ball.

USC vs. LSU would make for a great matchup. Sadly, it aint going to happen.

Notre Lame hasn't won a NC since the 80s...They just have the greatest deal that ANY college football team could have. No conference affiliation and a BCS deal that would make Kobe Bryant's no trade clause look miniscule.

Georgia is the hottest team right now, and I loved how they beat the snot out of Florida, but the BCS will not repeat what happened in '02. If they do, I'll be shocked exponentially.

1. BCS explicitly doesn't care whether you win your conference or not. They vote on it every year, and every year they reject the idea.

2. The human voters put UGA where they are knowing they wouldn't be playing for the SEC title, now all of a sudden they going to change their mind? What was the point of dropping LSU, or even Kansas for that matter after a loss? In LSU's case, two losses, when we knew in October they won their division. Why should Mizzou drop? If they vote the way they have been, and not try and FABRICATE a title game, then UGA would be playing OSU.

EDIT: A mockery would be if LSU jumped Kansas, VA Tech and UGA.

EDIT #2: what's jacked up is LSU gets a SOS bump because they beat Tenn who beat UGA

No way should UGA, Kan, or VT should've been ranked n front of LSU anyway, LSU beat VT by 30, UGA never even mage it to the SEC champ, and who has Kansas played worth mentioning.......Missouri oh yea..what happened? THEY LOST

I never said they should be, but I think that is how it is going to be. LSU lost to a unranked team before this bowl game. Kansas has only one loss and to a ranked team. OSU is ranked before them...sadly and VT just beat BC.:smh::smh:I want my damn USC against LSU, but I fear of that computer.

True on that note...I looked all over the place if there was a "Nebraska rule" in the BCS this year, but that's nowhere to be found.

In that case, then Georgia could be #1 or #2 in a couple computer polls then...all they would need is for the Harris and Coaches to vote them #2 and they're in...Aw snap

yea fuck dat computer, it's starting to fuck with our lives already, we gotta smarten up and get control of this shit...........lol

The one thing I appreciate about this board and in all the posts I've seen, not one person has mentioned that farce of an undefeated team, Hawaii. I know it's early, and they're only down 21-0, but it looks bleak for our old ATL coach June "run and shoot" Jones.

It Should Be Georgia vs. USC.

I Would Love To See That Game And It Would Be A Good Matchup.

All of this Big-10 hatred is puzzling to say the least. What the fuck did the Big-10 ever do to y'all? Why are y'all so mad? Were y'all not hugged a lot as children? Did one of the girls in y'alls pre-school touch you in your "special place"? The SEC still has the current national champion, and is clearly the best conference in all of college football.

Why tha fuck are y'all so mad? It's the holiday season for Christ's sake. Get some spiked egg nog in you and quit crying like y'all never won anything or like y'all never get any respect. You SEC fans are like the story of the woman with the two Virginia Hams under her arms, but she's going around town crying because she's got no bread.

Y'all remind me of that spoiled little brat from Willy Wonka:

"I want an oompa-loompa daddy and I want one NOW!!!" :D

the reason why I don't like the Big Ten is because it's always 3 teams(OSU, MICH, PSU) Illinois is gettin good but thats it, damn near the whole SEC is bowl eligible.......THATS FUCKIN CRAZY, thats the toughest conference HANDS DOWN, thats why have a Big Ten champ game or something, then maybe I'll change my mind...........also everytime you believe in the Big Ten they always fuck over you, like OSU last year all that greatness to be assraped in the NC last year

Well some teams should be pullin for Hawai'i to lose, or else the BCS games would be even more twisted...

For all I know, I don't see how Georgia could be anything less than #2.

Looking at last weeks BCS standings, you may be right. Like I said, the Harris and Coaches poll would have them at #2 unless VT or LSU jumps them. Massey could have them at #1, with A&H and CM possibly placing them at #2. So with that it may be enough to put them at #2 BCS.

Well some teams should be pullin for Hawai'i to lose, or else the BCS games would be even more twisted...

Theoretically, only Mizzou, Kansas, and Arizona State should be worried about Hawaii. But the BCS bowls don't like the prospect of Hawaii since they don't believe they travel well. The BCS bowls can only take two conference teams, LSU, VA TECH, West VA, OU, OSU, and USC are locks.

UGA, ASU, UF, Kansas, Mizzou are the highest ranked BCS conference teams that aren't conference winners. UGA is more than likely going to be the second SEC team and a one loss Kansas would be the second Big 12 team. An undefeated Hawaii would make the whole BCS thing wacky.
But I think it would be cool to see them in a BCS bowl

Mizzou's not getting in unless the bowl that selects them thinks that they'll pull more spectators than Kansas. UGA's ranked in the top 4 right now so they're in. ASU won so they're in. That makes 9.

That leaves Hawai'i and Illinois as the two left. If Hawai'i wins, they're in the Fiesta or Sugar Bowl. If not, then Illinois goes to the Rose Bowl.

Illinois has to get into the top 14 to be eligible, they are ranked 15, which is likely since Tenn will drop out and BC may drop out

quit saying, "kansas," please. kansas played the weakest schedule out of ALL THE TEAMS being mentioned here. they lost their chance when mizzou beat them. and mizzou lost theirs when the big 12 power ou, stepped up.

a healthy lsu right out the gate opened the season and busted va tech's ass something horrible. they won the SEC title, and since mizzou lost (bad) to ou, it's gonna make thiings real interesting.

i'm mad because osu has played an easy schedule.
i'm mad because osu is at home resting for 2 weeks while others are still jockeying for position in their conference and for their chances at bcs bids.
i'm mad because osu fans will cry the same tears as last year if they get their asses stomped. "we had too many days off, etc."

BC could be above them, but Illinois may get the nod over them if they take Tennessee's spot at 14...The bowls w/o their team with a conf. title can choose anyone they want

Kansas can't be ignored no more than Hawaii, they have one loss whether they have a weak schedule or not. The BCS looks at rankings, which take into account SOS, that's why Hawai'i is where they are and they are undefeated. I too would like to dismiss Kansas, and would not want to see a good bowl wasted on them, but that's how the BCS is set up

LSU beat 6 ranked teams this year, ACC champ by 30, 2 BCS top 10 teams, & lost two games in triple OT. Don't be shocked if they jump

Hawai'i not fraud man...not their fault UT & Mich State backed out on them this year. You think they wanted to play that bullshit schedule? Texas knew better than to play those boys. If you've watched UW, than you'd know they take 1st half leads only to blow the shit...I expect the same tonite

Kansas has as much merit to get in a BCS game as anybody within the top eight. I'm hoping that they get in one, and win the game...That way, they'd have a high ranking at the end of the season, and with only 13 seniors this year, most of them will be back for next year.

I want them to at least be in the top 10 next year so that USF can get their revenge next Sept. 13

Kansas beat only one ranked team & that was 24. K-State, who would go on to get 73 put on their ass by Nebraska..get the fuck outta here with that merit shit. Truth is, if they weren't in a BCS conference they'd be looked upon like Hawai'i.

None of this bullshyt matters until they get a fuckin playoff..

I'm glad both WV & Mizzou lost...

GOOD! - Fuck the BCS & get at least an 8 team playoff..

when the last rankings come out on monday, kansas will have played an entire schedule where all their wins were to teams that did NOT get one single vote for the top 25 teams in the country.

that's fucking pitiful.

they had their chance to do something with their extremely weak ass schedule, but they blew it.

and mizzou blew it.

and ohio state will capitalize because wvu blew it.

the wvu coach just had his press conference and dude looked suicidal.

Truth is, if they weren't in a BCS conference they'd be looked upon like Hawai'i.

Kansas has one loss...Who other than OSU and Hawai'i can say they have less than one loss?

And since you don't want Kansas in there, who would take their place in the BCS bowl game?

I just want a +1 system and for the rankings (Harris and Coaches) not to be released until the 5th week of the season.
