Baseball players more than ANY OTHER SPORT do sh*t dumb like this all the time

falling down stairs, breaking ribs holding back a sneeze, cutting a box and almost bleeding out...

Am I lying?

I don't care what anyone says, I'm seeing some of the best baseball I've seen in my life.
Not too sure about that. Analytics are destroying the sport. Too many coaches are managing through a fuckin chart without having a common feel for what's going on in the game. Starting pitchers can't pitch past 5 ininings, bullpen guys need a fuckin day off after pitching one inining.....(which is a fuckin joke) base running mistakes are ridiculous, and everyone is aiming for stupid lauch angles as opposed to making contact to make the defense actually work. Don't even get me started on the lost art of stolen bases. I can't say this shit is better that what I saw Pete Rose, Willie Stargel, Ozzie Smith, Vince Coleman, Mike Schmidt, Larry Bowa Steve Carlton Eddie Murray, Ricky Henderson and Tony Gwynn do. :smh:

Co sign cuzzo

But i understand his point

Despite horrible joint front office coach management on in play decisions?

There has been incredible players highlighted this season from Ohtani, Tatis.

To vets like Harper and Matt Sherizer.

It's been an amazing season...

But lack of small ball, over dependence on home runs, bad plate discipline, 7 inning games, too many days off, bad officiating etc

Especially over use of analytics with pitcher

The numbers will always be a part of the game and should be that's baseball tradition

But the over reliance is ruining the game.

Agreed. While there's some amazing talents in the game as you mentioned this numbers crap is fucking up the overall product. Pisses me the fuck off.

And it doesn't give the manager any protection.

If it's the right call the GM gets credit

If it's wrong the manager is a puppet.

You can't win.
That's another issue. These crakkka smarty pants college grad GM's who never picked up a fuckin bat gonna try and tell players shit about when to swing and take pitches. Man Pete Rose would have knocked one of those muthafuckas out back in the day. :roflmao2: :roflmao2: :roflmao2: :roflmao2: :roflmao2: :roflmao2: :roflmao2: :roflmao2:

Alex Anthopoulos from the Braves is the best GM in the game. Another division title for them. Congrats. They've earned it

give us 2 years, and the Nats are gonna come back and kick their asses. GM Rizzo has a plan. (I hope lol)
BUT, if the phillies ever get better pitching, it's a wrap. :itsawrap:

This shit sucks.
"Streaky" play is for suckers. And we were too fucking streaky this season.

Fuck Boston as a team, as a fanbase and as a muthafucking label.

Now Judge and the Yankees have all the time in the world to do their little skits lmao.
