If A-Rod broke the record already I would have said "allowing A-Rod to break the record" but instead I wrote "allowing other players like A-Rod to have a fighting chance of breaking the record." Plus I would not have made the statement plural by saying other players like A-Rod!

I remember when I was a youngster in retail Management. I worked with white trash racist CAC's. Their superiority complex was disgusting.

I couldn't stand the job. I wasn't getting paid badly at all. (40K in 88). I just knew there was more for me. I didn't want my success to be at the whim of a white persons feelings towards me.

I would complain about the system. When whites would hear about it they basically told me I should be glad I am making a decent living and not in the ghetto...:smh::smh::smh::smh:

The white employees working under me resented my authority. Anything negative would be completely blown out of proportion.

I can just imagine Barry Bonds, making 100x what a CAC reporter is making, has to deal with in terms of resentment. Couple that with a Fuck Off, you have bad press.

Are you saying that Bonds DIDN"T lie to a grand jury about using steroids and HGH??? It's kinda obvious that he did, since his suppliers (for whom he was the centerpiece client) have all gone to jail.

I personally don't give a shit about athletes using "performance enhancers," but in terms of the law (and lying) he certainly is guilty.

Neither Conte nor Anderson was charged with distributing THG. In fact, nobody in the seven-year BALCO investigation has been charged with possession or trafficking of the drug. Less than $2,000 of drugs was found in the highly publicized raid of the Burlingame, Calif., laboratory in 2003.

They went to jail for dispensing various illegal performance enhancing drugs and "cocktails." Bonds was their most high profile client. There's no question about what they were doing there. They kept RECORDS (with names).

Maybe you should've tried to save other BALCO clients like Marion Jones and Tim Montgomery. They did exactly what Bonds did (using and then lying about it). There's no debate.

By the way Anderson was held in jail for failing to co-operate with the Feds against Bonds, to which he maintained all along that Bonds is innocent!

Who do you think Anderson and Conte supplied? He was their premier client. His name (along with his doping schedule) was in the BALCO files, fool.

So Marion Jones made a false confession??

The sad part of this is that non of this will clear his name in the court of public opinion, nor will it reverse all of the awful treatment he and his family have gone through since this all started. Unless they can go back and make all of that right, the ruling is a day late and a dollar short.

So you're saying that he never used performance enhancers (even though he tested positive and became ridiculously inflated)? He never lied before the Grand Jury? And BALCO, which is run by a bunch of WHITE guys, is being crucified (despite countless black athletes and trainers dropping dimes on them)? Right?

Dispensing these chemicals was (and is) illegal unless you're a doctor, so is committing perjury, which is what Bonds' actual "crime" is.
