Barack Obama on Tavis Smiley

He was on it tonight, talking about his non concern for threats on his life, his opinion on Hillary leading him in the polls and other things.. It was quite interesting and I couldn't just help feel a bit proud with even the notion that even by the slightest chance we'll have an African American president, with all the things going on in the media today, how we're portrayed, children looking for role models, just the idea of him being president just seems right.. Just personally I can't remember a time in a long while where I've seen someone on tv, an entertainer, Oprah, Farakhan, Sharpton, or Jackson where I've just watched them and was proud..

Anyway was wondering if there's any way I could obtain a copy of the broadcast if anyone knows of a site on the net or something like that..

Nice Post............Bumping with an assist

We as a people really need to mobilize and contribute what we can to Barack. I believe he's a great man with a good heart and deserves a 100% of the black vote, unfortunately many of us blacks have so many issues (self-hate, distrust, lack of information, unwillingness to gather relevant information, mis-aligned allegience, uncle tom disease, laziness, etc...) that we may trick away this unique, great opportunity to support one of our own that deserves it.

Spreading the word is the least some of us can do. Send mass e-mails, talk to your people, make sure they vote in the primary, send him a $20, do something!

It's crunch time people, just a few months before the primarys! We have to do what we can to see Obama in the Oval Office. Those friends that are still undecided its time to apply the pressure to them and ask what are their reservations when it comes to Obama. I'm personally voting for him not because he's black (which is a bonus) but because he is the best candidate for the job.

It's really time to GET UP GET OUT AND DO SOMETHING!

I'm amazed and angered at the number of silly-assed Black folks that are desperately trying to assert their "political intelligence" by either siding with Clinton or saying that they "haven't made their minds up yet"!

What in the FUCK is wrong with some of us.

Obama is likely the BEST possible candidate in a Black man as we'll EVER have the opportunity to elect as a Black U.S. President and there are Black people actually rejecting or contemplating the idea of voting for him?!!!!

I swear........:smh:

It's sad man.. :smh:

We claim to want better for black folx yet we ALWAYS self-sabotage instead supporting something that helps us out. Obama is by far the most electable black candidate that has ever run for president. And these confused @ss negroes find every reason not to support him.

:smh:

C/S man i tell you its these mindless self hating civil rights faggots, I have always said anyone connected with the civil rights movement will never become president mainly because of white guilt. Obama is the best canidate and blacks wont support him.

If Hilary wins the primary do you think she gonna tap Obama to run on a Clinton/Obama ticket? i mean it would be in her best interest to do so but knowing her she will committ self ownage and have Ralph Nader run with her :smh:

I'm ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN she'd NEVER have Barack run with her.

If she won, she would already have to deal with people looking to Bill on everything that would be going on. She would never put herself in the position of having TWO very popular men bookending her and taking her shine.

It would be a great if she did but I'm certain her pride will knock that notion back. :smh:

I'm voting for Obama next year, no doubt. I need to do a little more research on his platforms, but from what I've gathered he's been consistent in his statements. I hope he makes good on his claims, especially the heavily touted free healthcare; I want him to adopt Hilary's policy on offering it only to Americans and legal immigrants.

I really want black youth, of voting age, to be a large factor in next year's election. That's my hope.

Man, I owe you a beer.
I am frustrated with my own people, almost to the point of disillusionment. We just can't get it right. Here is a fine brotha running for president of a country with a history of racial discrimination and alienation and we are failing to assert our priorities. What the mothers' cunt wrong with black folks?:smh:

I think some Blacks want Barrack to take a radical stance against white america dealings with black folks; they want an activist. What chance would he have if he would call white devils?

Man, I want Obama to win in the worst way. I actually think he would do a good job as President, and I will vote for him in the primary. However, I am so committed to getting these Republicans out of the White House, that I can't diss Hillary because I support Obama. I realize that we will have to rally behind WHOMEVER wins the nomination.

I was actually an Edwards supporter, before supporting Obama, because I liked his plans on dealing with poverty in America. An Obama/Edwards ticket would be the GOLDEN TICKET.
