Barack Obama has exposed the "Black Hustle"

A Harvard degree is more valuable because the marketplace more highly values Harvard grads; compare their starting salaries for proof. Why does the market favor the Harvard grad? Smarter students performing superior scholarship; compare the stats on their incoming students, moreover, compare the level and quantity of academic product for proof.

You're right, though you misunderstood my point; audacity alone isn't enough. Obama has audacity, but he also has a superior intellect resulting from his own innate gifts and his elite education.

Education is critically important because education is not only what separates Obama from Jackson and Sharpton, academic performance is principally what separates blacks from fellow Americans.

Obama's path to success, indeed, the principal path to success, is in the classroom. To the extent that Jackson, Sharpton, and others haven't made that point they've failed as leaders.

If black kids keep losing in the classroom they'll keep losing outside of it as adults. In an abstract way, maybe Obama should inspire black kids to dream; more to the point, he should inspire them to do their fucking homework.

End of post.....

No, I don't agree. This is because Al, Jesse, Louis Farrah Khan and Mr. Barak Obama still don't know what to do about the global system of RACISM/WHITE SUPREMACY. With that mentioned i can and will never blame any non white person for the existence of this system and what it does to our people. Do you sir, have a solution?

I'm confused....why do you need someone to tell you to read a book? seek knowledge for yourself.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh...............

It's just a transparent "excuse" to point fingers at the other man.

:smh:

- well, you will probably just hurl another playground insult, but I will ask this question to challenge you:

why is it that jesse, al, dyson, west, maxine waters etc etc...why is it that these blacks don't talk about how THEY became successful in life? why is it that they've NEVER held a seminar or a speaking engagement SOLELY on the topic of how they themselves escaped the bullshit and got into politics/becoming a professor etc etc, and how these kids can too...

what sense does this make for them not to? and why do we as a people allow this "HUSTLE" to continue? these theatrics?

just questions man...I apologize in advance if they piss you off.

Critical point that no one has really addressed. They do in fact profit off of the misery of black folx. If there are no issues to fight, there's not job for them to do. Therefore, it makes sense for them to exaggerate those issues to make themselves seem more relevant. The end result is they keep people focused on being mad @ white folx instead of giving them an empowering message. If you're willing to go get skills, you will increase your access to opportunity. That's the example that Obama is showing all of black america.

But hey, guys like Sharpton & Jackson are preachers so we already know that's a hustle. A guy like Dyson could change lives by simply promoting one message. I was a factory worker who got laid off & my life changed when I went to school & got a PhD. Instead, they continue to focus on a different message.

They did say how they got there.

Not because the OP never heard it means that the story was never told...........

:smh::smh::smh:

Who here has never heard the Dyson story or seen the documentary that shows him and his incarcerated brother?

:confused::confused::confused:

The OP is reaching and basing conclusions on false premises and lack of information.

Where is the OP's info to support his position?

:smh:

Death to black leaders!

Hail the black leader!

Wasn't you the main nigga along with daddybitchbucks and van faggot talkin shit about Obama? Now you want to hail a real black leader? Fuck out of here

Obama is a product of the system, the reason he's in the position he's in is because he passed the test, jumped when 'they' said jump.

No, he didn't fucking jump when they said jump. He did his homework so when they asked him if and why a court had jurisdiction over a claim he got the fucking right answer. The same way when they asked an MD to explain the difference between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system he got the right fucking answer.

Pay attention because this shit is important. The classroom is a competitive arena. You've given the loser's excuse -- it's not my fault; it's the game that's the problem, i.e., it's not education, it's "indoctrination."

Math, science, engineering, law and medicine are not fucking forms of indoctrination. They are critical bases of knowledge, chiefly responsible for improvements in human living conditions.

Now I understand why a person or group would deride education in order to excuse their educational failures, it's easier than admitting defeat; but that doesn't make it okay; the stakes are just too damn high.

Education is not a path to success, it's the fucking path. Don't like it, too bad.

Don't attack Obama or the educators. Look in the mirror, and attack stupid motherfuckers who tolerate, or worse, praise, getting the wrong fucking answers on tests.

A few weeks later and hindsight becomes 20/20

You dumbasses are idiots. We already had Condoleeza, Colin Powell, and a ton of Black successful people. Nobody has ever argued that nobody could be famous. All that has ever been said that the social conditions of the ghetto and poverty make it harder to be successful, than somebody who doesn't have to go through that.

You're comparing a mixed race guy who went to private schools his whole life in the most racialy diverse island in the entire world to your average kid in Compton and the South side of Chicago. It's not the same. Anybody who says it is is an idiot.

I'm just as glad as anybody that Obama got elected, but his election does not make schools in the inner city any better. It doesn't make for better teachers or police that don't shoot young Black men on sight.

I swear house niggaz and racist crakkkas will use any opportunity to try to cause a class war in Black Amerikkka. Don't fall for the trap.

It's not about the quality of the schools but rather about the quality of the PARENTS. Always has been.

Why can't it be both?

Why do ww always want to pin the tail on one thing?

Because, more often than not, kids from good homes (with committed and/or educated parents) tend to succeed even in bad school environments, while kids from lousy homes fail even in GREAT school environments. There've been plenty of modern schools built in inner-city neigborhoods, yet those who succeed and fail tend to be the same ones regardless.

The school isn't the issue. It's what kind of burden (or lack thereof) the child carries into it.

Modern school doesn't mean motivated teachers........

Come on step your game up, make some sense, this is Kaya here.

please reference the screen name

Barack Obama is an anomoly compared to hundreds of thousands, millions even, of black youths in cities all over this world falling victim to a racist/white supremist system, to blame other black leaders for this or notioning that president-elect Obama has "exposed" them is completely missing the point. This is a prime example of self hate. You see Jesse,Al,Louis, and others and you see reflections of yourself...you dont like yourself so you dont like them...instead of looking to core root of the issue you finger point and name call...learn to love yourself and soon you will be able to love people that look like you just as much...like these men and women havent traveled all ove this country and the world advocating and standing up for civil rights...please give respect where respect is due...or just post some porn...:angry::angry:

Modern school doesn't mean motivated teachers........

"Motivated teachers" can't work miracles with deeply unmotivated students. These kinds of unprepared and socially-deprived kids turn motivated teachers into basket cases.

Come on step your game up, make some sense, this is Kaya here.

"Sense" would be putting the blame where it belongs, internally and not (always) externally. That's just excuse-making. Fix the families first, and then worry about the schools.

Stop using the Mc Cain school of one-track logic.

Ever heard of the word "concurrent"?

There are a number of issues involved so to extract one as the culprit is disingenious to the overall situation.

Both internal and external factors need to be worked on concurrently.

Cheap distraction tactic. :smh:

Ever heard of the word "concurrent"?

Have you ever heard of the word accountability?

There are a number of issues involved so to extract one as the culprit is disingenious to the overall situation.

There is only ONE truly overriding issue, and that's the one I pointed out.

Both internal and external factors need to be worked on concurrently.

Money has been thrown at public schools for years. Let's finally start working on the other one. At least figure out how to acknowledge it, without losing your street cred.

Money? public schools?

You think throwing money was a good tactic so now try something else?

:smh::smh::smh:

You said modern schools referring to resources then raised the money thrown into public schools and you think that is a solution?

:smh:
I have never heard Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpton put down black men. Mofos need to check pump their brakes and learn something before writing and opening their damn mouths.

I think what he's referring to is the critique of Jesse and Al pimping black "victimhood."

I do agree that Jesse and Al championed the black cause but Obama is the next stage of the process...

This post is like watching someone praise the skyscraper but in the same breath shit on the foundation that holds it up and made it possible.

Some of these same kats cheering now didn't even wanna vote for Obama. I've heard he didn't grow up in the states, he didn't grow up in da hood, his Father's is from Africa. He went to Harvard.

I heard it all these same people hate those who were raised well. Those who have two parents joined Jack and Jill growing up etc. These same people went to college and still get hate from niggas if thy don't hate the man or listen to Rev Goodlove and Jesse 24 7 365 and join their networks.

YES HE HAS. I never bought into the woe is me I'm poor Hustle. I've read where the leaders of the hustle had lunch and dinner with what the Pro- Black anti everything else would called Them Billionare/Powers that be holding US down. The fans of these guys don't call them out for having a Power luches etc.

These same people kill me asking as if their leaders are marching 24 7.

Their leaders flew Private Jets just like the Big Three CEO's did. Their followers will give them a Pass for flying private on their dime. Niggas

Their leaders can fly private and send their kids to private schools. If a upper Middle Class person did this, they are not down with the struggle.

Niggas are full of shit.

It's not about the quality of the schools but rather about the quality of the PARENTS. Always has been.

You're joking right? Is that why all those depressed White kids from broken homes are the ones flunking out. . . or wait? Are those kids who come from rich, fucked up families still doing way better than poor kids who come from good families. They always have and always will.

It's about the schools. Now, the parents are part of it too, but trust me, you'd be much better off being Keith Richards or Ozzy Osbourne's kid, watching your parents doing drugs everyday, but going to nothing but the best schools, than you would being a kid from Compton going to the worst schools with 2 parents.

You wanna bet that the average Black kid from a good family's gonna end up with more money than Jack or Kelly Osbourne? How about Mick Jagger's kids or Princess Diana's kids.

How come they cant? Every few years Hollywood is forced to take notice of some teacher(usually White) who went into the inner city and taught the kids to think outside of the box. Well, that's happening everywhere with teachers White and Black. I've seen it with my own two eyes. I've seen honor roll students get lost in overcrowded classrooms and I've seen students deemed unteachable meet the right teacher and get the right environment and their entire life changed. Hollywood wants you to believe only White teachers are capable of this, but I've seen Black women change lives in a classroom.

This post is like watching someone praise the skyscraper but in the same breath shit on the foundation that holds it up and made it possible.

:smh::smh::smh:

Exactly, these guys are dumb enough to think that Obama would be where he is without Chisolm's run in '72 or Jesse Jackson's runs in 1984 and 1988.

Wow, somebody must've really jolted your Black elitst existence. You guys are worst than White people. Even White folks know how fucked up they are. You just like to sniff their throne and throw shit at your own, while not even knowing that they see you as a nigga.

Fuckin' wannabe. I hope you get your OJ, Kobe, Clarence Thomas reality check.
