Bangladesh Disses Swizz Beatz. “I Don’t Think Swizz is Relevant”

Are we gonna act like Swizz wasn't on Blueprint 3 with on to the next one. That song bangs.

Swizz was the reason I didnt fuck with the ruff ryders to tough. I always hated his nintendo ass beats..the only reason why they banged was because they were sonically good..same with Neptunes.

That dude is buggin forreal. As mentioned Swizz got his hand in soooo many pots this nig Bangladesh can only dream about swizz kind of paper. Fuck relevance, his catalogue and business acumen cannot be questioned. Any of yall remember a song Swizz did with Busta call Fright Night on the Ruff Ryder 2 album..?? That was my shiiiit...

 This is like saying Shaq was only good because all he did was dunk.

The Neptunes? No.

siwizz makes mediocre tracks.. but gets paid well. and for that i respect what he does more than alot of producers.
out of all the ruff ryders, swizz seemed like the one getting paid properly. i know im jus goin by what i see, but ive seen certain rappers pushing magnums on the street and i always seen swizz pushing something heavy.
his street life looked more like the rappers video than the rappers looked like on the street

That's just stupid. Swizz makes more off royalties in a year then bandgladesh probably makes flat out. If swizz is still producing records on the biggest artist albums how is he not relevant? He has some of beyonces biggest songs. I know bangladesh made Amillie. can someone give me a brief rundown of all his records? cuz im sure the list isnt a 3rd of what Swizz's is

mannie making beats for good music isnt he?

Relevant? How many producers that came out in the '90's are still making music today? Forget about a hit, just fucking music?

Mannie Fresh? Nope.
Rza? Nope.
Just Blaze? Dunno, somebody educate me.
Trackmasters? Nope.
Stevie J? Hell to the no.
Jermaine Dupri? Fuck no.
The Neptunes? No.
Beats by the Pound? Nope.
Scott Storch? No.

The rap producing game is volatile as fuck. To have any type of longevity is a success.

Dude just sounds like an idiot.

I don't understand it, everyone mentioned has hotter beats that have longer life spans than the simple lex luger tracks. I think all of the cats you mentioned are still making music but why their not getting work on mainstream albums.....i don't know. I was chilling with Al (DJ Toomp) before I went to NY, he has hot shyt for days, he said he's dropped his prices, ngz just doing whatever right now. Their recording 100s of songs, then when its time for the album they have to narrow it down 10 to 14 songs and then politics, who's hot or what sound is hot all comes into play.

Mannie Fresh played a bunch of tight beats with mystikal in the car, posted on bgol a few months back. I thought after watching that, Mannie would be back, ngz would be getting at him, doesn't look like anybody has got at him. Just like out of nowhere Cool and Dre popped back up on the Ross album! That's one of my favorite tracks, but they hadn't been getting much work, like i would've thought no i.d would've got another slot on the new ross album.

imo,
besides dame grease, swizz has played a major part in the success of the ruff ryder camp, and moving on to bigger and better things such as producing for rock groups, soundtracks, video games and the o so out the blue singles that bubble every now and then. Not to mention the short lived success with his record label. Just because a brother is not producing any of the new bullshit on the radio now doesn't make him irrelevant. He could just be taking a break from getting over the mess of divorce he had and starting his new life with a keys and son.
It's like saying some dumb crap about just blaze, because you don't hear much from him. These brothers are doing big things outside of what's popping on the radio..

if u a producer, ur job is to make music. how u 'step away' from that to focus on 'raising a family' when your job is 2 support um.....and u support um through the making of music?

Dude you are so misinformed its not even funny :smh:

Mannie Fresh - YES
(recently done stuff for rick ross, gucci mane, slim thug, mystical... possibly signing with G.O.O.D Music) :hmm:

RZA - YES
(still producing for Wu Tang album/artist, does A TON of movie and soundtrack work)

Just Blaze - HELL YES... YOU CRAZY???
(never slowed down, Eminem, Jay Electronica, Drake, Busta Rhymes, etc. etc...)

Track Masters - YUP
(they broke up for a couple years and came back together). Worked with Lil Kim, Wiz Khalifa, The Game, and some up and comers. No big hits obviously, but they are still producing

Stevie J - Not really.
He hasnt been frontman at least since 2009, but that doesnt mean he's not contributing in the studio and getting paid to do so. Not to mention, dude's catalog is LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG.

Jermaine Dupri - YES!
Still producing, currently working with Pharrell on a new artist, and is working on Mariah Carey's new album coming this year (a single with Rick Ross was released last week).

The Neptunes - OMG, U SERIOUS!??
Just in the last year alone they did shit for: The Game, Rick Ross, Usher, Tyga, Adam Lambert (American Idol), Curren$y, and a bunch of other people.

Beats By The Pound - NO (THEY SPLIT UP)

Scott Storch - KINDA.
He was working with Dre on Detox, and he's been doing work for up and coming artist, etc. etc... But his drug problems are still present and people arent fucking with him as a result (when he initially re-appeared sober, people started coming to him but he fucked that up).

Get your facts right before making assumptions dude. Or at the very least do a quick Google search or something geez :hmm:

And of course he backs away from it like he was talking about Slim and Baby :smh:

"@757sins that interview wasn't even about swizzy, she asked a question about swizz and it wasn't relevant in my interview," he wrote. "@THEREALSWIZZZ this isn't real bro interview wasn't even about u. They slick reversed the focus. Inspiration is who you are so ur relevant

:smh:

He's The Game of producers

The red part is kinda the answer to your question.

The standard is so low that damn near ANYBODY can make those beats nowadays if they download a copy of Fruity Loops. You don't even need a keyboard or nothing anymore. Just a laptop and a mouse. So now the market is flooded. Just go to Youtube or Soundclick and there's a million cats making those same type of beats.

As a result, artist don't need to go to top shelf producers like Mannie, Toomp, etc. b/c their homeboy down the street can slap together some shit that's comparable to what passes for a hot track these days for a couple hundred bucks or even for free. Even though Toomp and Mannie might have much better quality production, it really doesn't matter when Lil' Big Young So and So can go get a pots and pans beat from his homeboy and still actually have a legit chance to blow up b/c people don't demand a certain level of quality or creativity anymore.

Shit is sad really.

all truth. a nigga is really tryin to get that tv money right now...

lil big young so n so  u a fool

Wait ....why does he even have swizz beatz name in his mouth? Is this some on-going feud or some shit? Some of bangladesh's music does go hard (at least I think it does since I don't know all the ish he has produced). I know the last time I heard his name was the cash money drama. That's about it.

One of my favorites along with Money, Cash, Hoes.

@ 2:00 X didn't know he was lip synching.

yep, lex and his boy southside (produces a lot for waka) have a video on youtube bragging about making many beats without a keyboard (midi controller) they just use fruity loops sequencer. I mean not to pick on those 2, because their young and did what they did, so i'm not hating on them. But, the industry and artist arent giving some great hard working producers work and they wonder why album sales are low. Eazy Mo Bee still has some tight shyt, pete rock, organized noise, etc....

2:00 to 2:04 makes a great GIF

if i was the dj, i wouldn't even go back stage after that performance. I'd ask somebody to secure my shyt, i'm walking out the front door with the club goers, save myself a beat down and possibly having to cap a nga.
