Avengers:Infinity War ***Spoilers***

Thanos was chilling on Titan at the end of the film like....

Ayeeeeee yo!!!! :lol::lol::lol:

I wasn't expecting an introspective force of nature version Thanos, he is usually depicted as insane. I didn't like a cowardly hulk, it's like they wrote it that way to save on their special effects budget.

I don't know much about other shit that happened on the other 18 movies but I do know that was crazy ass hell....

How u throw a fucking moon...

Thanos is that dude,
That didn’t mess with the gravity either.

Yeah, I’m still pissed about Intersteller.

I just seen it today in RPX 3D this is my take and my knowledge of the comic book series that I still own and got them signed by both Stan Lee and Jack Kirby which took my a few years to accomplish.
Thanos love for the lady death is why his quest to collect all the infinity stones and create the gauntlet to help him bring balance to the universe (is why at the end of the movie the cut scene of little Gamora telling him was it worth it). I expect to see Ms.Marvel, Adam Warlock and maybe silver surfer that's right marvel bought the rights to fox so you can expect some crazy things in the next movie. Ironman will play a huge role as well he will figure out the way to defeat Thanos, that's why DR Strange gave up the time stone to spare Tony Starks life because he saw it in the future and the same reason Thanos told Tony Starks we both have a lot of knowledge

Marvel doesn’t have the rights to fox

Surfer and warlock not walking into A4 lol

Seeing it a second time not only strengthened my belief that death doesn't mean anything anymore, but now I see that injuries are also meaningless. Just look at the list of injuries that we've witness and felt real emotions over, for them to just write it out in a movie or less.
  1. Roddy got shoot out the sky and broke his spine in Civil War. Then he got robot legs and that injury was never mentioned again.
  2. Dr. Strange hands were mangled beyond repair and he couldn't be a doctor anymore. Then he got magic and the injury was never mentioned again.
  3. Bucky got his arm blown off by Iron-Man. Then he went to Wakanda, got a new arm from Shuri, and that injury was never mentioned again.
  4. Tony suffered from PTSD from the event of his chest bombing and of the first Avengers. Then he defeated the Mandarin, build Ultron, and that injury was never mentioned again.
  5. Thor had his eye ripped out by his sister and it was gruesome and made people in the theater jump. Then he got a robot eye and that injury was never mentioned again.
  6. Thanos stabbed Tony through the gut and left him clearly bleeding to death. Then five minutes passed and Tony sprayed some nano-techonolgy on his cut and that injury was never mentioned again.

Dude, it's a fuckin' movie adaptation based on comics. :smh:

Previous sub op. They have futuristic technology in the MCU where they can travel the universe etc. with medical technology.

The Hulk is the emotion "ANGER" come to life. Anger is always there in some small way.
You can not get rid of anger. You can Calm down. But the Hulk was not calm he was afraid.
LSN says the Hulk was dominated that would have made the Hulk even more Angry

Okay..here's the real reason Hulk didn't show up. They were on EARTH. Yes..Thanos whooped his ass in space, but once he got to earth..he didn't want to fight, but it wasn't because of Thanos. Think back to Thor Ragnorak when Hull said the Avengers were Bruce's friends...not his. He said Earth doesn't like him. He is sick of being used as a weapon for the Avengers and nothing more. He didn't wan to be a pawn that gets all the blame when shit is torn to bits. Which is why Hulk and Banner will merge in the next one.

1. Not important to the story
2. Dr. Strange's hands were shaking when he gave thanos the time gem
3. Giving him an arm was mentioning it.... wasnt it? Showing him with no arm working at a farm again, sort of mentioned it. What dialogue do you want beyond what was given?
4. He had anxiety attacks wouldn't say PTSD per se but thats semantics. They could have addressed this a little more.
5. Again, the replacement of the eye kind of closed the loop. Nothing more needed as far as dialogue. Would have been better if he kept the eye patch imo tho.
6. Nope... not clearly bleeding to death. You kind of made that jump. You can stab someone in that place and not have them bleed to death. Again, they closed the loop when they showed them stopping the bleeding.

1. He obviously got some Stark Tech that helped him walk. Didn't they mention experimental tech in Dr. Strange? You think that Tony's best friend wouldn't be on the top of the list for shit like that? Hell, he wouldn't be on a list period, cause Tony felt guilty for that shit..

2. His hands weren't mangled beyond repair, they healed but he had nerve damage that prevented him from ever being a surgeon again. Not to mention you can see his hands twitch & tremble during most intense spell casting.

3. Chops answered that one perfectly.

4. You must have not gotten the context of the Thanos/Stark scene. Wanna know why Tony went so hard in that scene? Because he saw his PTSD true to life right in front of him. It was even acknowledged when they spoke & Stark was surprised that Thanos knew who he was.

5. It wasn't about the eye. It was that Thor felt incomplete without his hammer & flawed/weak because he lost his eye. Notice all the confidence he gets back once the robot eye is in. Remember Odin told him the power is in him. He barely scratched Thanos the first time but the second time, he basically "instant-killed" his ass. What's the difference? The eye & the hammer.

6. The nanotechnology that made up his suit is also in him & saved his life. The spray was to seal the wound.

I finally got to see it last night (obviously, as I answered a few questions above).

Other than the joy of seeing a shared universe of heroes, it wasn't that appealing to me. Don't get me wrong, it's a great flick & well worth it but I had a few issues with it.

The whole Thanos/Hulk scene was cornball. The Hulkbuster beat Hulk's ass worse than that. I suspect there more to it than Hulk's ass-whipping though...we'll see in the 2nd act. Thanos taking numerous kill shots & fatal hits throughout the movie was ridiculous. His motive is dumb as fuck.

Black Widow being a better fighter than Panther & Okeye against Black Axe, Glaive & Proxima Midnight, that was bullshit.

But my biggest issue is this...the glove was used all wrong. With the exception of the reality power (and I'll alllow the time power, being that's how it was used in Dr. Strange), it sucked. What's the point of a combining the stone if you just gonna shoot power & space beams at everyone/everything. Once the glove is complete, shit should be altering all over. Use the power stone alone, I can see you shooting power beams. The power stone in the glove should have been just a straight explosion of Titan.

Actually, he did use it the correct way when he destroyed that planet tho...

Disagree on the hulkbuster. Hulk fought back and did some damage to the buster armor when he fought it. Hulk got BEASTED by another being with No added power. Didn't use a gem at all. I completely buy it because it has happened before with the hulk.

Definitely agree on the Black Widow vs Okoye skill gap.

I think a lot of people missed the subtlety in how the Russo bros portrayed Thanos' use of the stones

1. He flexed his fingers when he used the respective stone which was a great attention to detail.
2. When he got a gem, he then used that gem to get the next gem (with some exceptions)
- started with power gem, used it to torture Thor in front of Loki
- Got the space gem and used it to stop Loki from stabbing him and used it to get to Knowhere before anyone else
- Got the reality gem and used it to trick Gamora and Quill.
- Got the soul gem via kidnapping Gamora
- Fought Tony/Strange/Guardians/Spiderman using every gem that he got so far and acquired the Time gem
- Used the time gem to get the Mind gem.

Random comment: Anyone peep Thanos use the gems to basically create a black ball of energy and hurling it at Stark???
The meteorites from Titans moon was a nice touch but that was just as impressive to me... maybe even more so.

Could Heimdall (I. Elba) saved himself instead of Hulk? Seems like they were trying to save the intellectuals and core Avengers.

Also with Rhodes his legs are mentioned when he's talking to General Ross / Secretary Ross. He says how he signed the Accords and how he paid the price for it. That's a direct discussion of his legs.
