Ok, I'm going to say it. Avengers Infinity War was straight up bullshit!!!. Just fighting porn. Straight up ass kicking/fighting/getting beat up, slammed arount etc, etc for 2.5hrs with a thin as plot. Not as good as any of the previous film. And yeah the after credit scene was bullshit. Been there, done that!! Nothing new. Of course they were going to bring SJackson back... and how in the hell Captain America gonna make a difference when none of the others could get it done? I call straight up bullshit on that bullshit ass movie. I really wanted to like it but gonna give it two big-ass thumbs down!

I mean the movie is called Infinity WAR. What did you expect to see them do, sit around a table eating shawarma?

Comic book movies are only as good as the philosophical debate that they tackle and as good as the villain and hero are able to explore that debate.
This movie was basically Deontology vs Utilitarian consequentialism.
Deontology argues: You have a duty to do whats right REGARDLESS of the consequences aka No outcome can justify heinous acts. (Captain America: We don't trade lives)
Utilitarian Consequentialism argues: ethical outcome has the most benefit for the most people. No matter what you have to do to achieve those ends. (Do ANYTHING to stop Thanos from getting the stones ie Peter Quill attempting to shoot Gamora, Scarlet Witch Destroying the Mind gem; Thanos throughout the movie)
Basically boils down to the Trolly experiment:
You are on a train, train's breaks fail. The track you are on has 5 construction workers that cant hear or see you and you will hit them.... but there is a way to change tracks that will result in 1 construction worker being killed.

Though some of the characters that that are killed off in Avengers: Infinity War will most likely stay dead, it's abundantly clear that the ones that "cease to exist" when Thanos snaps his fingers at the very end will be back.
Still, the film's writers are sticking to their guns and insisting that the likes of Black Panther, Spider-Man, and most of the Guardians of the Galaxy - you know, all of those major character with sequels on the way - won't be resurrected.

During an interview with Buzzfeed, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely suggested that fans "move on to the next stage of grief" and accept that all of the heroes who perished will remain piles of ash.
“['Avengers 4'] doesn’t do what you think it does," states Markus. "Also … [the deaths are] real. I just want to tell you it’s real, and the sooner you accept that, the sooner you will be able to move on to the next stage of grief."
Yeah... sorry, Chris, but we're not buying it.
McFeely then added:
“Put it this way. I think ['Infinity War'] is a fairly mature movie for a blockbuster. It’s got a lot of fun in it, obviously, but boy, it gets very mature. The second one is also mature. We’re going to own these choices, and hopefully surprise and delight you and get you invested. It’s by the same studio, the same filmmaking team. They were written at the same time, shot at the same time. They’re clearly connected, but they are definitely two different movies, one of which is dependent on what happened previous.”
It's completely understandable that those involved with bringing these movie to the screen want to maintain some secrecy and are hesitant to outright admit that there will be a lot of deceased characters returning, but at some point it starts to get a little insulting to the intelligence.
At any rate, let us know what you make of the writers' comments in the usual place.

They are really trying to "make fetch happen" with Captain Marvel. Nobody reads her shit because she sucks as a character since they changed her from Ms. Marvel. Marvel needs a Wonder Woman and they are going with one of their most bland, boring characters to try to force her down everyone's throat like they tried to force her comic book to the top when nobody was interested in that shit.

Assuming that the Captain Marvel solo film even does well. I can't see them coming up with a story anywhere near as compelling as BP. I question Venom, too. Doesn't look that great, but I could be wrong. I'm sure A4 will be tight. I'm just saying that they are really pushing Cptn Marvel despite the lack of interest in the comics.

They didn't beat Thanos until Quill fucked up. They subdued him long enough to maybe to the gauntlet off his hand. I'm sure that if they would have be successful, Thanos would have wrecked everybody once he came to and realized they fucked up his plan.
