Ya'll stay crackin' on Falcon's beard.:giggle:
This lil dude's beard looks more realistic than Falcon's beard.

OK going for a Marvel No-prize here...

For those saying that cap fucked up the time line I disagree.

As Banner reasoned with the ancient one, they agreed that as long as the Stones were returned to the moment they were taken the timeline we all have come to know and love will be preserved. When steve stepped onto the time disc with Mjolnir bruce said it would take as long as necesary for steve but he would return in 5 seconds to them.

HERE is where the NO-prize kicks in...Steve did not need to return them all at once. I would propose that the first stone he returned was the soul stone (in theory using the space stone to teleport to various locations.)

Once the soul stone is returned next he teleports to asgard to drop of the aether and Mjolnir. Than goes to morag to return the power stone. Next up is to return the Mind stone to post battle of new york.

Now we are left with 2 stones which, IMO, are the easiest to return and thus the perfect time for steve to steal some time. With the space and time stone left he can transport back to the 40's and live his life with agent carter. Once she dies of a nice old age he can than go back to the military base in jersey return the space stone, then go to the roof of the ancient ones sanctom and give her back the Time stone.

At this point steve can either activate his time tracker or (seeing how he was sitting on a bench and not on the time disc) have the ancient one transport him to the bench we see him on.

I'll take all of that and it's a nice theory. As for the timeline, Cap didn't fuck it up but it did get fucked up and him taking the stones back to where they got them won't fix it. They did create one alternate time branch when Loki took the Tesseract and bounced. Cap taking the space stone back to when they got it in the 70's won't change that. I'm assuming this is the setup for the Loki miniseries they are doing on Disney+ because I can't see them making a sloppy oversight like that without it being intentional, but I guess we will see.

When cap went back what he did would have created a new time line. What we saw in the movie should have happened in that new timeline Cap created and not in our marvel universe timeline.

So cap went back in time to live a normal quiet life with the chic and no one noticed him? I don't think so.

Yeah I dont buy it. I doubt cap would give up the soul stone once he sees red skull. This cap would also be too old for avengers 1. What happened to the cap on ice? How could he fight himself in one timeline, but go back and there not be a version of himself?

Went to see it yesterday and it was everything it was hyped to be. i just feel like a giddy 10 year old all over again with these movies man. the last battle was bananas and topped infinity war. with the scope of the past 2 movies i just wonder where do marvel go from here? far as villains go even tho star lords father could have been a bigger threat ....thanos was that dude!! i'm guessing phase 2 will be x men and ff4....as long as they can lead into the silver surfer galactus and warlock....i'm cool with it. i like how they did the time travelling where it didn't make you say wtf all the time. i'm gonna need some time tho for how cap did his work and grew old with his love. avengers disassemble

Dude!!!!!!!!!! When Black Panther showed up coming thru the portal, I started clapping and yelled out "It's Challenge Day!!!!"

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
My friend pointed out to me interesting throw back to civil war when Hawkwye was fighting T'challa

But in Endgame when Hawkwye was running with the Gauntlet T'challa says Clint give it to me!

i wonder how that meeting went down with cap and red skull?

I don't think they met.

Each time we see red skull he says he is a guide for those seeking the soul Stone. His curse is to lead other's to a treasure he cannot possess. Also he does not appear until they reach the summit.

So cap coming to return the stone should not trigger the appearance of the red skull.

interesting take. but where does cap put the soul stone once he's on that planet?

Nuther no prize aspect Loki... With the rules banner and the ancient one established (time-line restored as long as gems return to moment they were taken) Loki would not have gotten the tessaract.

Cap took the scepter/mind stone from New York, but ultimately the tessaract/space stone came from an earlier time (1970)

This Thanos is younger, less humble & wise, less battleworn & just saw the Avengers kill him after he (in his mind) did the universe a favor that no one else wanted to do.

Add on top of that that the past Thanos was more focused on his goals of removing half the population. 2014 Thanos is Thanos in full battle mode, with no more remorse for anyone or anything. Everything dies.

Falcon was a member of an elite unit...that's how he got the wings in the first place. He'll be fine.
Flip the ages around.. The older one was wiser and less ruthless. The younger (past) is ruthless.

In theory the whole planet is home to the soul Stone but he could easily transport to the top of the mountain toss the stone off the summit and teleport out.

question after watching this again
they are going to do a Black Widow flick which most are assuming will be a prequel

but wouldnt it be possible to have resurrected...once Cap returns the stone
as a hardcore comic fan i've always enjoyed how no death is final (except for Uncle Ben & Ben...they brought back Bucky & Jason Todd)

the only death that should be permanent imo is Tony & Thanos

nah, she sbould stay dead. now all i need is the chic that plays Mystique to die.

Nah man, everything Original Cap did before going to live with Peggy still happened. Him staying in the past didn't undo anything he did before returning the stones. So there would still be a version of himself trapped in ice. Or not. I dunno. Maybe that created another timeline. :dunno:

Agreed

As for the black Widow prequel I think it safe to say it will show how she came up as a trained assassin from birth, how she met Hawkeye and we finally will see what went down in Bucharest.

Safe to say this will be done by younger cheaper actors.

where did he get the shield from?
whats up with Loki and does his disappearance fuck up the timeline?
how is Nebula dead in 2014 timeline but we have her in the present?
if thanos and company of the past were snapped in the present did all the events in Infinity War occur? to borrow logic of this film that was their 'past'

i loved this movie but damn I FUCKING HATE TIME TRAVEL

Cap returning the space stone/tesseract to the 70’s only means it’s still in SHIELD/Hydra’s possession for the events in New York in 2012 to happen. Loki taking the tesseract and bouncing will still happen the way it did unless he also went back to that event and prevented that. Idk...time travel is a convenient plot device. That was just the one thread they didn’t explicitly tie up as nice. But it doesn’t ruin anything for me.

Exactly!!!

It's all fantasy anyway

I'm surprised nobody question the blue bitc h killing her past self yet still living in the future

How do you explain that

They made a lame excuse when war machine named all those movies and tv shows that had rules to time travel
yep like this vid explained 1 of the most obvious 1... The fact they couldve gone back to the 1970 first to get more tubes to time travel jump...also to get 1 of the stones
