This whole thing stemmed from that blue camaro that was doing donuts in the intersection. The driver lost control and hit another car which turned into a fight which turned into a shootout. It didn't have anything to do with the area other than that shit should've been shut down long before that. It's literally downtown. Between this and the 8 year old being killed this wasn't a good weekend for the A.

@850credit @thismybgolname Based off the videos and the current climate, I would stay away. We all know what can jump off when the young Thundercats get together. Sad to say, but I'm 40 now and since I hit the club scenes, situations like this play out too much. Then there is no law enforcement to at least send them home or deter them from shooting. The virus is still rampant. I'd say no. It's like the Wild West out there so please keep yourselves and loved ones safe.
I live in the West End...work normally in Dunwoody but from home indefinitely now. I am at GSU as well so I expect to have to be in the Edgewood and Auburn area in the fall for classes. Hopefully everything goes online in the Fall but I doubt it. Crazy times in the A.
I advise people to use Amazon or Walmart Delivery for groceries. I haven't been to a grocery store in months other than maybe Costco once. It's all about reducing risk...that Nick Cordero guy was younger than me and he died of Covid with the best care possible I'm sure.

That's actually a good solution, get rid of the cars and drive thru traffic and they area could be properly policed if the police act the same way the do in white high density nightlife areas.
They could put up signs this is a gun free zone, get the local government to slap a mandatory extra 5 years on anyone caught in that area with a gun, camera the shit out and hopefully the shit will stop.
