Man I’m getting my place remodeled and I’m trying to cop new furniture for every room and the shit I’m running into around town is WHACK!!! I hit the damn Gwinnett shit, midtown, all that. Am I missing something, this shit is terrible. Any spots you’ve copped or even ordered furniture?

Huff Furniture is what I've heard has a very good reputation. I haven't personally used them.

You could also check The Dump Furniture Outlet. Again I haven't used them just giving you options.

When I bought my place new furniture was included in the deal so I haven't been furniture shopping since then.

Thanks. I peeped the dump. They will have one fire item and the rest is blah. But their rug game is decent.

Relax your expectations, fam. You will have to keep checking the same places, ask what day of the week they get new shit. Most get all their furniture from the same vendors/manufacturers.

These are some of the spots I found decent when I was looking, not black owned tho...

Georgia Furniture Mart
6694 Dawson Blvd, Norcross, GA 30093
Bought a Jackson CatNapper sectional from here.

Designer Rug Warehouse
1240 Old Chattahoochee Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30318
www.designerrugwarehouse.com

They have nice furniture and some custom live edge tables made from Costa Rican wood. Expensive tho. I saw a Calvin Klein silk & wool area rug like 14' x 12', $900. The devil is a lie!! I left that hoe.
There are some other furniture stores on that same street.
They have another location on Old Nat'l, an African brother works there, Kenyan I think. We had a good convo.

Brownlee's Furniture
309 Maltbie St, Lawrenceville, GA 30046
www.brownleesfurniture.com

Best advice I can offer is don't be in a hurry to furnish every empty space just to fill it. I didn't want to just buy some shit that I didn't like to fill an empty room then hate it later, and the stores didn't have shit I liked :dunno:

Also look in Goodwill stores, the better ones on the outskirts have some newer stuff.

I hated furniture shopping at first. I was looking during the pandemic, kinda made it a hobby to curate my space more, make it more personal and custom to me. I'm not done at all. All I bought was that Jackson Sectional, a Purple Cali King bed and a bunch of houseplants & designer pots

Theodore Alexander old furniture
Used to order Ralph Lauren also

Not sure how high end you wanna be. I was looking at people during Thanksgiving like you’re sitting on $30k have some respect.

You want high end shit which means you got a lil loot.... don't know why you just don't look on the net, find something that you like, buy it and have it delivered... :dunno:
sidebar: they gotta even have shit where you can see how the furniture you like looks in your crib begore you buy it too.... virtual homes and shit

Dis ninja!

If you got a girl let her run around in Desperate Housewares if they are still around.

It's like a thrift store for furniture. Getting some unique stuff doesn't have to be expensive unless you just want it that way.

Yes. I went in. Shit was futuristic or needed to be ordered with a long wait. MF’s had a couch I liked for $5000 and needed to be ordered. Nah. Naaaah.
Most high end furniture is custom made. Christopher Guy was taking 6 months a year ago. Look up Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, I ordered a customizable couch from them. People love it. Dr something
