They got your credit card info, your license plate, the entire incident on multiple video cameras... when you could have just called VISA and disputed the charge? :dunno:
I've got a bone to pick with you guys! Furious Wingstop customer throws cash register through WINDOW because he didn't get a refund when they 'messed up his order twice'
  • A California man furious that a Wingstop in Antelope allegedly messed up his order of chicken wings twice and wouldn't give him a refund
  • The video, posted to TikTok on Tuesday by Tharon Trujillo, shows the unidentified man ripping the cash register off the counter
  • 'I don't want the food. I don't want to wait. I don't have time to wait on the food again. OK, so now what do we do?' the man said
  • An employee responded: 'It's either you get the food remade and you go on about your day and stop yelling at my other manager'
  • The Wingstop's manager said that refunds are not allowed under company policy for online orders

A California man furious that Wingstop allegedly messed up his order of chicken wings twice was caught on video throwing the cash register through the window when he didn't get a refund for his online order.

The video, posted to TikTok on Tuesday by Tharon Trujillo, shows the unidentified man ripping the cash register off the counter at a Wingstop location in Antelope and slamming it on the ground twice before throwing it out of the window.

'I don't want the food. I don't want to wait. I don't have time to wait on the food again. OK, so now what do we do?' the man says in the video.

An employee responds: 'It's either you get the food remade and you go on about your day and stop yelling at my other manager, because that's, no, it's uncalled for.'

The man then snatches the cash register and throws it on the ground before tossing it out the window and leaving the store. The video appears to censor the man letting off a rampage of expletives.

The Wingstop's manager told KOVR that the man claimed he was missing wings and that refunds are not allowed under company policy for online orders.

Trujillo told the outlet that he overheard the irate customer claim he was given the wrong order twice.

'I was telling him to calm down. I said, 'you don't want to go to jail, you don't want to go to jail,' Trujillo said.

He added: 'Definitely when I seen it I was kind of shook up a little bit, they were definitely shook up behind, the ladies behind were definitely shook up, and they were like thank you for staying. It's definitely not what you see every day.'

It was not immediately clear what the man had ordered and how much he was seeking to be refunded. DailyMail.com has reached out to Wingstop for additional information and comment.

For reference, a large 10-piece wing combo costs $14.19 at the Antelope store, according to Wingstop website's online ordering system.

But the man may now have to pay thousands of dollars for the botched order.

The store manager told KOVR that replacing the broken register will cost around $6,000 and the store is waiting for a quote to fix the window.

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office told the outlet that vandalism with damages more than $950 is considered a felony and the incident qualifies for them to put out a felony warrant.

The Wingstop location is in the process of filing a police report for the damage. No injuries were reported.

this is why they get minimum wage.......lol
i've had my order fucked up twice before......they just ended up giving me the food for free.

man listen...

dude obviously has anger issues.. hopefully he walked. because if he drove and they got his plates on

camera.. he is fucked...

it they cant get his plates, he better leave the state before somebody who recognizes him snitches...

all it would take is a five hundred dollar reward... snitches will come out the woodwork....

if he acts like that over wings.. I hope he doesnt have a wife and children..

if so

There was fault on both sides, moreso on the customer. Obviously, he shouldn't have caused all that property damage over what was probably less than $20 of chicken. However, Wingstop could have done more to resolve the issue. Wingstop service in general is notoriously slow, I think because they make everything to order, so I can imagine why dude was pissed that his online order (which I'm sure he did to save time) got screwed up and he still had to wait. That being said, if for some reason company policy is not to issue refunds to online orders, than you need to make it up to the customer with free shit. If he ordered a 10 wings, give him a 20 piece with fries & a drink. Time is valuable, and if you're going to waste 30-45 minutes bullshitting, than I need more than a "my bad".

Bro turned a $10 order into $1000+ charge
Yup.

Time wasn't valuable to him, cuz now he's gonna be spending some time behind bars. Also, people gotta stop thinking they can talk to workers crazy and still expect good service.

Everyone is inconvenienced sometimes. But if it was that bad, I would've just took the food and left. That would be the wingstop that I'd never spend $ in again. I'm not risking my freedom for 10 piece hot wing platter.

Dude was just thinking about making the place more safe from covid by giving the place more air circulation by giving the windows and upgrade.. as far as the register he was just helping them move it just in case they wanted to start a curb side pickup option.. dude was just being innovative in these trying times

No way the wings are THAT good
Bro I have a good recipe for grilled wings I got from the New York Times cooking app.
Season your chicken with your favorite spices
Toss the wings in some corn starch
Throw them on the grill for 35 minutes at 375, flipping halfway through.
In a bowl, mix a half cup of miso broth, two tablespoons of rice wine vinegar, and two tablespoons of honey.
At 35 minutes, take that bowl to the grill and dip each wing in the miso solution, then put them back on the grill for 5 minutes.

As always, adjust for your tastes. If you want the sweet and sour taste, just add more vinegar and honey
As always, adjust for xd
