A relationship isin't official to me until there is verbal confirmation, i.e., we have to mutually agree out loud that we want to be exclusive with each other.

Provided it's not a one night stand, if a woman let's me hit it on the first night I don't necessarily think less of her. I would form my overall opinion of her by the way she acts over the phone and how she acts on subsequent dates. Almost every time I hit on the first night we still date and get to know each other.

I don't know how a woman could do too much too soon. When I'm interested in a woman I do everything I can do to get her to like me, and I assume she would do the same thing too if she felt the same. The only thing she could do to raise alarms in my head is buy me expensive gifts when we've only known each other for a short while: that to me means she's possessive.

If I met a woman who was too good to be true it would take me a long time to trust her.

A woman with lots of male friends doesn't bother me. It probably just means that she's cool. Hopefully, in time, her and I would be cool like that and she wouldn't have the need to hang out with her male friends as often. I can't stand woman who have gossipy friends--especially if they're single. I just don't believe a man is meant to get along with his woman's single female friends. I mean, we could be amicable but for whatever reason there's always going to be competition which breeds dislike.

I'll give u an allegory for this one...my girl's friend has a dog and a cat...the dog is 2 years old, and the cat is 4-5 years old. Me and my chick were at her friend's crib and I noticed that when the cat and dog would play/fight, the cat would always whoop the dog's ass even though the dog was noticeably bigger. My chick looked at me and said "I think the dog thinks it's a cat." Her point was, until the dog knows that it's a dog and acts like a dog, it will continue to act like a cat.

I think the guy has to come to the realization that he's supposed to be the aggressor on his own. You could hint to him about it, but any changes he would make would feel forced and unnatural. He has to know that he's a man, and that he is supposed to be the leader in the bedroom.
