Dudes a good boxer but he was outclassed by Dirrell for most of that fight and then took a cheap shot that cost him the fight and did serious damage to Dirrell, a guy with a brighter future.
Even if I give him the benefit of the doubt that it was a mistake, when he saw the replay he still didn't apologize and called Dirrell "a good actor".
Just a White folks were trying to like him, he fucked it up in that post fight interview.

i didn't see the fight.

It was good. When Abraham came on late, it went from a great exhibition of Andre Dirrell to a great fight. Abraham blew it by getting frustrated. He didn't even apologize for fouling Dirrell. He's shit. That dude may never be the same figher and he called him a "great actor".

it could have been the heat of the moment though. weeks of training went into this fight. i can understand the frustation and him not seeing what he did was wrong. dude had a chip because of the fuckery with 3 michigan judges and fighting in his hometown. those thing should have never happened. Also I heard AA got robbed on a knockdown. So all those factors probably kicked in with the fact he was behind. AA never came off like a dirty fighter to me in the past. I just need to see this fight tough. But my opinion will be biased on things I read and stuff. I just hope Andre is ok and they get a chance to fight again.

THIS IS WHY WHEN YOU TALK ABOUT BOXING I NEVER TAKE YOU SERIOUS...

And I honestly don't care. Please take that seriously. Everyone's opinion is influence by family values, financial status, education, knowledge of the activity, and other things. Like I said my viewpoint is going to be somewhat biased. All I have read was the dude did Andre dirty. So my viewing the fight will be looking at it from that perspective. Sure I like to stay unbiased, but I already know the outcome and have heard about the damage done. I am just being honest. And one more thing. I never say anything on here to gain approval or to be cosigned. I don't know you so your approval is not even important to me. Just as your disapproval doesn't matter.

Its unfortunate the fight had to end that way, and even though Abraham was fucked up in his response during the interview, he probably honestly felt that way....that being said, the statement 'styles make fights' was never more evident in this fight and the Kessler/Ward fight (I actually have Ward as the favorite in this tournament). Dirrell is an exceptional fighter and I hope he recovers with no lasting effects. Abraham, on the other hand, was definitely coming on but to a point I believe he will always have trouble with speedy fighters who give him angles. He really has some damage control to do on the PR side too with his post fight interview...don't know if he can recover from this.

Dirrell really seemed to learn from the Froch fight, as he did less running and more beneficial moving. He was sitting down on his punches more and hurting Abraham at times...that being said, I believe he still has to add another wrinkle to his game. That's what separates him from Ward to me, Ward has more dimensions to his game, and once a fighter starts coming on, Dirrell reverts back to running and pulling out straight back, which is what allow Abraham to start getting back in the fight. Best of Luck to the young fella though, he has a helluva future ahead of him...

:smh: Buk you cant be serious. There is no excuse for what Abraham did last night. Dirrell clearly slipped and was down for a couple of seconds before Abraham coiled back and lit him up. It wasnt even questionable..there was a good delay before he decided to take the cheap shot.

eewwll, there is no need to argue that point. I swear buk is a character. He is speculating on and defending something that he has not seen, even though, there is video of the event. Unlike most people who would hold off on giving an opinion before seeing the footage, buk did his own thing.

There is no way he can have a straight forward discussion about the issue...

but he will try anyway.

It was total bullshit. Even with the "heat of the moment" argument, when he saw the replay, he had a chance to cop to his foul and still acted like Dirrell was at fault and was acting. He's got plenty of physical skill but no integrity. He wasn't playing a "heel" role, he was being an asshole.
Even after the fight, instead of asking of Dirrell's condition, he and his corner are bitching about Dirrell taking a steroid test. WTF? Talk that shit before the fight, not after.

He killed me with the defense of Abraham.

AA was not robbed of a knockdown. I watched the fight and thought he was too until they showed the replay in slow motion. He punched Dirrell moving backwards and clipped him with his foot at the same time.

lol, you guys are worse than my girl. No one is defending AA. However you have to at least entertain what goes on with these guys. Men are supposed to cry, but you see boxers do it all the time. You want to know why because in the heat of the moment after victory, after removing yourself from family, starving yourself, pushing yourself, and then spending 12 rounds being beating down emotions can take over. If is simply how people work. Tyson snapped, that dude that body slammed mcmahon snapped, dudes constantly do stupid shit in sports in the heat of the moment. It isn't an excuse it is a fact of life. Hell we all have done it and none of us have been in the ring being pummled by a world class boxer. Granted I understand if this notion is going over my groupies heads right now. However it is what it is. I have not seen the fight but I have seen dudes lose it and do stupid shit in sports many of times. I just hope dude is okay. I'm sure AA probably feels like shit today. Even tyson after years of court mandated couseling understand he was wrong, lol. you guys are some weak minded dudes to be so focused on my words. I said I didn't see the fight. My assumption was clearly that he was wrong, but I still wanted to see the fight. lol, it is like talking sports with 5 angry ex girlfriends. Shut up. Let another person have an opinion and move on. Stip being such a hoe with all your crying and shit.

buk, get over yourself. Most of us come to the sub-forum boards to have serious discussions with people who take whatever subject seriously. It's not the point of not having seen the fight, no one sees every fight, but to throw up what could be deemed a defense of Arthur Abraham for his reaction. It wasn't necessarily the foul that pissed me off about the guy but the way he acted after the fact. With you, it's not a difference of opinion but seeming lack of depth to your opinions that make some of us :smh:. I know you say you don't care and that's fine, costs you nothing. But for most adults when we're having real conversations with other adults, we at least would like to be taken seriously, not necessarily agreed with, and not dismissed.

Exactly. What the fuck is Buk ranting about.. I had to pull a CP on that shit after the second line:lol:

I did security for him that fight and I can tell you he (abraham ) was fuck up behind that it was a bad move on his part and he knew it.

That may well be true but in front of the national cameras, he came off as an asshole and has still done nothing to change that perception.

Damn I see I gotta come to the sports forum to see the good boxing threads.. Yeah Abraham surprised me with that bullshit. He was usually a stand up fighter and to be honest one of the cats I like to watch fight...

This is how we get down over here. All that other shit they do on the Main Board, we leave over there (for the most part).

I encourage you to participate but know what you're talking about. You will get exposed over here if you're a lightweight.
