Perhaps the american middle class can learn from their mistake. Several major unions in this country at the direction of their leadership have endorsed left leaning politicians here. However the rank and file members are much more right leaning and likely to support Trump. We will see.The so-called middle-class in Argentina are getting their wake up call but it is too fucking late
Seem like it’s been a full fledge attack in the middle class here(especially), there and everywherePerhaps the american middle class can learn from their mistake. I agree, inspite of the many debates about what exactly the middle class is. Where I live, the rust belt, the majority of people that used to be considered middle class were workers that could provide for a typical family on one good industrial type wage, or even two decent smaller company service jobs. Those days are gone and in my opinion they were killed off by the efficiency mongers that moved production and even customer service out of this country to wherever they could employ the lowest wages. The energy that drove those changes came from small government, free market uber capitalist, wall street arbitrage trading, good greed, corporate raider, types that have been making things worse for common working people since forever. Now its hedge fund, and private equity operators. Such people are of, and overwhelmingly enabled by none other than the GOP, then and now. Still, a bunch of people want to blame generic, big government, liberal regulation for killing the american dream. Go figure.Seem like it’s been a full fledge attack in the middle class here(especially), there and everywhere
