There is no official language in the United States. There are certain states where more than one language is official for that state only though...

And Hispanic is not a race, here's examples of different hispanic/latinos with different races:

Lionel Messi from Argentina(who are practically all white)

David Ortiz from the DR

George Lopez from Mexico

A lot of the unskilled workers are getting scared and paranoid, and some returning to their countries with their tails tucked because there are laws that were on the table to require legal papers. With the economy down, a lot of the construction workers have lost their ability to maintain.
