Are y'all using screen protectors on your phones & tablets ?

Stop getting those $2 ebay/kiosk screen protectors

You get what you pay for. Zagg's what Best Buy tries to push on you isn't even that good.

The better ones like Ghost Armor and Phantom Skinz, you can't even tell you have one on your phone.

Phone no.. iPad yes... Don't want smudges all over the big screen. I also have a BookBook case I keep it in.

THIS ALL I NEED HERE

Agreed, and it comes with a screen protector.

I have the same case, and I also have an additional protector on the phone itself.

How so? Only if it wasn't installed properly.

Once they are on, they stay in place.

It depends on how it feels under your fingers. I've tried, but I've found that it either affects accuracy, holds fingerprints more than the bare glass, or slows down dragging so much that it's not worth it.

Why no on the tab & Yes on the phone?

I keep the phone in my pocket so it's subject to more damage from keys and metal pens. A multipack of phone screen protectors is usually cheaper and easier to replace. I'd hate to get dust/ bubbles and have to remove the entire tab screen protector . So I use a microfiber cloth w/ a basic cover on the screen and carry it in a computer bag.

I'm not currently using one but I'm thinking of getting an anti-glare one to see if that makes using the kindle app easier on my eyes.

Like everything, not everyone isn't the same

Good screen protectors actually deter fingerprints, feel just like the glass and can't be seen.

Yes. Monoprice has them for $1.80 and IMHO it's worth the protection, especially for those who drop their phones and use a touch screen all the time.

I didn't say all. I said the ones I've tried and why I didn't like them. They all either had one of the problems or a combination of them.

I loved the Ghost Armor on my iPod.

Use a Slim case but on my three year old Screen nothing. No scratches. But I take care of my shit. And Now they got gorilla glass, so Im cool. Some of those cases defeat the reason for getting a thin phone.

iVisor AG: anti-glare & anti-fingerprint on my galaxy note.

i pick my big African American nose all day and i don't like to get boogers on my screen.

:hmm:

Isn't it a design fail if everyone has to buy a additional protector for the screen? No im not hating on apple just a question because cant tell the last time I saw someone with a naked Iphone.

How is it an Apple design flaw when most people with smartphones in general use them?

I sell my phones and get a new one, so I try to keep them in good condition. Most of my phones always look brand new.

I have an OtterBox on my Evo 3D, which comes with a screen protector. I also have a screen protector on my Evo View. As far as dust or lint under the protector, I've found that Clorox wipes, and a micro fiber towel, plus a can of compressed air before you install the screen protector works great. you can also use the squeegee and cleaning cloth that comes with the OtterBox.

Otterbox on my nexus. It has a screen protector built in. Also have a screen protector on my tablet.

yes on my xoom tablet - no on android phone

looks a lot better, but wish i had a good non-glare screen. the non-glare screen i had before got those little bubbles/dust under it...drove me crazy, so i took it to the pros and let them install one (invisible shield - they usually post up in mall kiosks outside of apple stores). cost a grip but oh well
