Looking for some bluetooth speakers. Any one got these? I need some for RAP MUSIC. I need them to be FUCKING LOUD! I heard them Bose ones on tv are wack for hiphop. Whats up?

I was working over a chicks house one day and she had Pandora bumping through this Harmon Kardon and it was beating.

How much is it? Is it good range? Is the bass low? How long is the battery life?

grab the harman kardon joint above ^^^^, i have 3 of them, range is great, bass is nice esp if you corner the speaker, battery life about 4 to 5 hours full blast... i had a whole backyard bbq banging with one of these..

That sounds good but that battery life is kinda WEAK. Also what's the range on it? Like if you Bluetooth from a desktop will it play the music in the backyard?

Do you got the onyx studio or the onyx wireless?

The onyx studio is wireless. Battery life how long u expect it to last. Its not a Big speaker but it has big power. Its ok sounding wireless, but great plugged in... i never planned on using it wireless. Its only bluetooth also no aux... and the range is good, also it would depend on how good the dongle or bluetooth profile u have with the desktop for range... the newest bluetooth profile would get the best range.

Check a sprint store for them and best buy to see it in person. They are usually plugged in at sprint

Onyx studio and Onyx wireless are two different models. They are both wireless but the studio is half the price and they look dif.

All this dude does is review bluetooth speakers. He usually tests for hip hop by playing Mobb Deep or something else.

this is the best one

wifi speaker

Most of these videos won't play on my phone. I think ima just get that onyx

Anything from Bose or High End makers, the speakers are NOT going to be ideal for Rap.

High End manufacturers favor range and crisp, accurate reproduction, not punch.

Rap music wants the bass to punch (knock).

If you want that sort of experience, lean towards brands that also market in the Club and Hip-Hop demo. They know what their demographic is looking for and will tune the ports and drivers with that goal in mind.

Beats (Obviously)
Harmon
JBL
Cambridge Soundwork

Keep in mind that you can only get so much Bass from a Bluetooth speaker. Physics are working against it.

Just came from the Sprint store & the Onyx made me a believer

which one is the Onyx again...

oh the kardon is the onyx...

Not a lot of prices were mentioned, BUT... I got those little JAM speakers (after watching Floss' review) about 2 years ago, and I love them. I can't believe they're up to $70. They must be trying to make them competitive (size/price) with harmon K and the others.

Bottom line, they're SMALL, but for what you need, they are AWESOME.. I copped mine at Best Buy 2 years ago for like $49. My fam came over once and loved them so much I GAVE it away and then went and bought another JAM at BBuy again! :-)

If you want to step your game up...

deepblue2 uses a custom developed 440-watt amplifier that is 5X more powerful than the home Bluetooth speakers currently on the market.

A massive long excursion 6.5-inch woofer moves a serious amount of air and creates deep impactful bass. You not only hear full bass, you feel it.

MUVO20-iphone-2.jpg

This is what I have and use daily. Creative Muvo 20, paid $80 for it. Very loud, bass is great and the sound was exactly what I was looking for. Yea it's a bit large compared to the others but this shit has been great. I get good battery life out of it too.

u are right...i might get this one....

i dont think i`m gonna wait...i hope they got it at best buy...

JAM HMDX Storm Wireless Bluetooth Speaker
